21.01.2022 Lucky Balloons As always, will have lucky balloons for sale on the night. These sell for $25 and are HUGELY popular, as they contain prizes worth $25+. We... now have a bit of a problem though. Our normal 25-30 balloons sell out within minutes, with less than 100 people attending our event, how are we going to keep up with the demand of 175+ people? We need your help here guys and girls. We are after Stocking Filler type donations. Something that can be added to a bottle of wine etc to make up great prizes! 19.01.2022 We have been contacted by many people and businesses asking if they can support our event. YES, YES , YES PLEASE!! We would absolutely love all of the support... we can get. Below are a few options of how you can help. Lucky Balloons: we will be selling lucky balloons on the night for $25 each. These are a very popular item as each balloon contains a prize worth over $25. You can help by donating smaller items for these, as we love to put a couple of things together. Small vouchers, bottles of wine, giftwares, accessories, candles, your products! The options are endless here. We are grateful for anything and as a thank you, your business will be acknowledged through our marketing. Silent Auction: our silent auctions always draw a crowd. Items for the silent auctions vary, and again we love to bundle things together. In the past weve had Wine, vouchers, jewellery, hair products, beauty products, gift wares, electronics, sports memorabilia, food items (whole fish vouchers , platter vouchers, chocolates) plus much more! Again the options are endless and we are grateful for any donations. Your name/logo will be displayed on the night also on our Facebook page and Facebook event. Major Auction: our major auctions are fun! They are the bigger ticket items and raise great money on the night. Accomodation, Photography sessions, Tools, catering, experiences, beauty packages, TVs, are all items that have been a part of the major auctions in the past. We are open to any ideas here, and would love to hear from you to also discuss how we pass on our thank you, to you through marketing, and of course on the night. Cash Donations/Sponsorship : yes please! We very much accept cash donations and sponsorship. We would love to discuss sponsorship options with you! This is a wonderful opportunity to get your business highlighted on the night in front of many local people, and also on our Facebook page of over 7,000 people. 05.01.2022 I know it has been hard on everyone including the function centre that has taken a 100% loss on takings. As a function centre we rely on group bookings, and especially weddings. So if you are planning on getting married next year please consider Waterfront Function Centre. There are new menus and wedding packages coming out for 2021 and we can hold bookings with no deposit until we are open again. Help us so we can help you.
