25.01.2022 Amazing season this year. We have an excess of heifer calves. Two or three available for new homes. Waterloo, Yandaran area. Extra photos available if interested.

25.01.2022 They are coming in two's. What a start to different operation. Cows with calves at foot. Suitable for dairy, house cows or foster mum's. I know the weather is difficult and the rain isn't coming for this area. Hoping that some have had good rain and need cows.

24.01.2022 Poddy feeding time. Feeder on the ground again. Welcome to our newest arrivals. Stay safe everybody.

24.01.2022 This baby still available if anybody has a paddock and grass.

23.01.2022 Our isolation. Pretty normal really. Thinking of the backpackers we have had here in the past. Hoping the ones here now that most are finding safe places to stay and camp. Stay safe everybody. Challenging times.

23.01.2022 While the end result is going to be wonderful. Trucks and noise and dust are starting to get to me. Bring on the finished product.

23.01.2022 Planning winter feed. Plan B in place again. Had come to turms with the sale of this. Was not to be. Thankfully beautiful weather conditions at the moment. We shall see how long it lasts this time.

23.01.2022 Our hills. Our sunset. Picnic time. Our guests at the moment. Anzac day.

21.01.2022 So sad to see you both leave. So good that hopefully you will both use the skills you have aquired here on another dairy farm. Good luck with your journey. Stay safe. Lots of love and luck from us both.thank you so much for all you have done here.

20.01.2022 Our newest baby enjoying her milk. Marlena is calling her her Baby.

20.01.2022 Happy Easter to all our friends, past backpackers and followers. Make the best of the situation. Love and Best Wishes.

19.01.2022 Photo of the Beefy baby lo o king for a home.

19.01.2022 Pouring at the moment. 27mm last night.

19.01.2022 So green and so beautiful. Have had more rain in February than all of last year. So nice to see the sun out.

18.01.2022 Wonderful rain, the DAM is full and overflowing. Looks like we will have for a bit longer. Contract extended won't go into details. For all those that expressed an interest in our cattle thank you. We will be continuing to dairy for the time being at least. Much disappointment and totally unexpected. We will see what happens in the next month.

18.01.2022 Just a good shot. Hope those clouds turn I to something.

18.01.2022 Happy Birthday my darling husband. 65 years young. Many more years with you.

17.01.2022 Our little girl ( Bodicia) had a very hard time. Mum and daughter doing well now. And no bub not for sale. Other shots around about.

16.01.2022 If you want experience and maybe/ and or a paid job. 88days VISA write of. Looking for someone that likes animals and can fit into farm life. Is an experience you will never forget. Lots of variation in jobs if you want to learn. Small farm north of Bundaberg. 100 plus cows and calves. Milking, calf rearing, irrigation are the main jobs at the moment.

15.01.2022 Nice time of the morning. Ok I am not a morning person despite the dairy farm.

15.01.2022 This little girl needs a home. Beautiful beefy heifer calf two days old. Knows how to make a noise. In these conditions at present don't really want to keep. But would if nobody comes forward. A donation towards feed for other animals is appreciated.

14.01.2022 This little fella needs a new home. Of to a slow start as mum's holiday was cut short. Healthy and happy now. For Marlena's information. Not Calvin.

14.01.2022 Hubble reaction. 56mm not even to the end of the month. Beautiful..

14.01.2022 Rudolf ( dog name ) and new friend Marlena. No wonder he prefers cuddles and cows.

13.01.2022 Both babies now sucking and out with mumma cow. Will be getting more photos of the herd within the next few days.

13.01.2022 Our new sign for the tanker drivers. Not as much information but does the trick.

10.01.2022 Our houseful at the moment. Lovely meal thanks to Ben and Manon. Would love to try more French cheeses as this dish is meant for different cheeses. Beautiful meal. Thank you both.

10.01.2022 Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all.

10.01.2022 Things are moving along. Our two new helpers are finding their feet. 43mls of rain which is wonderful and such a change from 2019. Due to covid 19 we prefer helpers to have a car a tent or a campervan.

10.01.2022 A few changes on the way. Beautiful rain last night 9mls. Best present ever.A few changes on the way. Beautiful rain last night 9mls. Best present ever.

09.01.2022 Thanks to our wonderful helpers we are surviving Covid 19 quite well. As our wonderful workers have continued onto another job. We have one helper here at the present time but two works much better. Have room for cars, tents and/or a campavan. We have some facilities available. Shower, toilet and some facilities downstairs. As well as if necessary a bedroom upstairs. 88 days is possible for the right person at the moment but a trail period of at least a week is necess...ary. Must be in Queensland at the present time and aware of the restrictions. (Husband has health issues) Experience in dairy would be helpful but training can be given. Must like large animals and must be hands on worker. See more

09.01.2022 Our early morning. Now afternoon.

09.01.2022 This beautiful heifer needs a home. Would keep but still no storms. Struggling to keep the herd going. Obviously Brahman/Jersey cross.

08.01.2022 These two babies need another paddock both five days old so will need milk for a while. Brahman/Jersey cross heifer. Other one Jersey bull calf.

07.01.2022 Our twins now. Or there is one of them in this photo. The other one equally as healthy and another bull. Due to a change in circumstances looking for a home for poddy calves.

07.01.2022 Busy day yesterday. Branding, vaccinations, numbers and last of all new hair dos without the spikey bits. Bit challenging for some. So all involved. Everything up to date and sadly I did not get photos. Thought about and then more cows to get or another job. Happy Easter to allBusy day yesterday. 07.01.2022 Just a few day to day pics. May not be for much longer. Still like the cows. Sometimes that routine of milking twice daily can get a bit much.

06.01.2022 My daughter Katie took this photo. Thought I would share.

05.01.2022 The odd photo or two. Heifer paddock and Marlena and passengers.

03.01.2022 Wrapping presents. Ignoring the mess.

01.01.2022 Have had two experience with caravans staying now. So nice to have a little help for a little while. So good to hear others experiences as well.
