24.01.2022 The Special Disaster Loans - Bushfires is now available to eligible primary producers, small businesses and not-for-profits affected by the NSW bushfires since... 31 August 2019. These are low-interest loans of up to $500,000 and two types are available: The Bushfire Working Capital Loan is up to $50,000 over five years, with a two year interest free and repayment free period. This loan is designed to provide immediate funds to help return and continue business operations and can cover wages, rebuilding and purchase of goods and services. The Bushfire Recovery Loan of up to $500,000 over ten years, with a two year interest and repayment free period. This loan is available for repairing or replacing damaged infrastructure, purchasing livestock or replanting areas that were affected by the disaster. To fast track your application: 1. 23.01.2022 Natural Disaster Declaration - NSW Storms & Floods Following the storms and floods that occurred across the south of the state from 5 August 2020 onwards, the... NSW and Australian Governments declared that disaster recovery funding is to be made available for affected local government areas. The assistance measures available and provided by the RAA are: - Concessional interest rate loans for primary producers and small businesses up to a maximum of $130,000, with interest rates currently set at 0.82% - Concessional interest rate loans for non-profit organisations up to a maximum of $25,000, with interest rates currently set at 0.82% - Transport subsidies for primary producers of up to 50% of the total freight cost to a maximum of $15,000 per farm enterprise, per financial year. Applications for assistance following this event must be received by the RAA on or before 11 February 2021.
