23.01.2022 TICKET TO PLAY Ticket to Play vouchers now include eligible 18-year-olds. Eligible participants can receive two vouchers worth up to $100 each. Eligible participants are:... 1. Tasmanian residents; 2. Are aged between 5 and 18 at the time of application; and 3. Are listed on a valid Centrelink Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card (either their own or their parent, guardian or carer’s) or in Out of Home Care. Vouchers can be used toward membership fees at approved activity providers. Both vouchers can be used at one activity provider, or each at a different activity provider. Vouchers cannot be used towards items such as uniforms, equipment, footwear etc. For activity provider information, click here. 20.01.2022 CHANGES TO SPECTATOR RESTRICTIONS FOR WPTAS CLUB SEASON GRAND FINAL NIGHT WPTAS and DKHAC are very happy to advise the WPTAS community that the current spectating restrictions have been reviewed for the WPTAS club grand final night 20/11/20. We can now allow up to one person per player for all divisions to attend.... WPTAS will be maintaining a very high standard of contact tracing and crowd control. Please note, the centre still has a 250 person gathering limit, therefore entry and exit of spectators will be strictly managed by WPTAS and DKHAC staff. 15.01.2022 Due to remaining border restrictions in place, as well as new restrictions within Australia in relation to travel and quarantining, Water Polo Australia in cons...ultation with the WPA Chief Medical Officer has made the difficult decision to cancel all the National Age Group Programs Camps and the Launch to LA Camps. Originally scheduled to take place in December 2020 and January 2021, the decision to cancel the camps was done in the best interests of players and staff. WPA understands that this decision will be very disappointing for the athletes and coaches but in what has already been an uncertain year we wanted to give some certainty for the December 2020/January 2021 period. We will now turn our focus to 2021 and begin planning for what next year may look like for these athletes and coaches. 02.01.2022 A reminder to all parents and carers that we only have permission for one spectator (one parent/carer per child) for 12 & under and 14 & under athletes only. Parents/carers are required to "sign in" as they enter the centre. Any additional family members seeking admission to the centre will be refused entry. This is a Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre condition of entry.
