08.01.2022 Water Polo Victoria remembers today the brave men & women who have served our country over many years by sharing a link to the Australian War Memorial collection of some wartime water polo-related images. https://www.awm.gov.au/advanced-search Group portrait of prisoners of war (POWs) at Stalag 383 who made up the Australian water polo team. They are posed in front of the fire-fighting reservoir, which was used for swimming; the water was not changed for three years. This German POW and internment camp was a special non-work camp for non-commissioned officers (NCOs) from October 1942.

03.01.2022 WPVic would like to clarify for athletes the WPA Announcement of the National Age Group Squads last night. It can be confirmed that Victorian athletes have not been left out of selections to the National Squads. It had been previously agreed with WPA for Victorian nominations to be provided at a later date so as to provide the best opportunity for athletes in Victoria to prepare for possible nominations due to the ongoing impact of COVID restrictions. https://www.vicwaterpolo.com.au//WPVic-Athlete-Nominations
