WHERE... 20 King William St, Kent Town SA 5067 WHEN We have a position ready to go immediately. The business is open 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm Saturdays. The successful applicant will work between 30 and 38 hrs per week (as a casual) during those times with a view to a full time position for the right candidate. WHAT A casual position is available within our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for doing deliveries in a company vehicle, stocking shelves, answering phones, taking orders and warehouse cleanliness. During quiet periods you may be required to perform other tasks within the business. While previous experience in sales/customer service, and any irrigation related qualifications will be looked upon favourably, they are not necessary to apply for the position. 16.01.2022 Earlier this week Clint Adams installed a Rain Bird ESP Me3 Wifi enabled irrigation controller at his house and connected it to his existing solenoid valves. Having this controller means Clint can adjust his irrigation scheduling from anywhere in the world (well, Australia currently). You all know the saying about mechanics servicing their cars, well irrigation store owners and irrigation systems are not any different. ... It only took Clint 4 years to irrigate his new place. 04.01.2022 Hey legends. As you know, I keep my family life and business life quite separate on purpose. Today I need to break my own rules to share this post about my niece, Sophie. Below is some text from her parents:... Brooke and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated towards Sophie’s fight. Fundraising is difficult at the best of times, but COVID-19 has made it even more challenging. We are happy for Sophie’s story to be shared far and wide to raise funds and awareness about her fight. Before Sophie got sick, we didn’t realise that many Australians suffering from rarer conditions have such limited access to life-saving treatments through clinical trials. If you haven’t done so already, please share Sophie’s GoFundMe with your friends and connections. Every share helps raise much needed funds to get Sophie overseas and also creates awareness around childhood cancer and the struggles that families face. The lead up to Christmas was busy with hospital appointments but we were thankfully able to enjoy some wonderful times with family and friends over Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our festive activities and weren’t able to go on a planned beach holiday with our extended family due to Sophie’s treatment. Sophie began the next phase of her treatment today, with her first session of craniospinal radiotherapy at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She has to have a general anaesthetic for every radiotherapy session to ensure the radiation is delivered precisely to the correct locations. After waking up from her anaesthetic, she had a quick bite to eat then headed off to the Women’s and Children’s hospital for chemotherapy and a blood transfusion. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy sessions will continue for the rest of the week, then a couple more weeks of radiotherapy. So much work to organise Sophie’s overseas treatment is going on late at night in the background of everything else in our lives. I am in regular communication with several of the overseas clinical trial sites and am working through treatment details. Some hospitals are taking longer to get back to us than we had hoped. Once we receive replies from the remaining sites, we will be able to weigh up our options and decide upon the location we will travel to. Hopefully, we’ll be able to confirm a destination and travel dates soon. Thank you for your ongoing support!
