05.01.2022 Moisture readings. We use FLIR Thermal equipment along with their moisture meters to gauge moisture retention. This particular meter is the latest tech from FLIR incoprating thermal imaging and environmental factors such as Relative Humidity and Dew Points. It is able to measure below the surface to about 20mm... Relative readings are taken to determine a spike in moisture, so when we see averages of say 7 (left Image) spike up to close to 99 (Right image), we are confident moisture is present in that area. We can then conduct further thermal imaging or more invasive testing.
