22.01.2022 Did you know that Australia is home to over 200 frog species.Of our frog species, 43 of them are listed as endangered or vulnerable, and 3 are presumed extinct. Our cute little friends are hopping mad about habitat loss and urbanisation.Having a pond in your backyard is a great way to help native frogs find a home.Frogs, like us, need moisture, food and shelter. Ideally, place your pond in an area that is both shady and sunny and provide rocks, logs, and shrubs to keep the frogs happy. While tadpoles live under water, adult frogs need dedicated areas adjacent to the pond where they can hang out! Keep frogs happy and you will be rewarded with a chorus of frog song all night!
