19.01.2022 Current job rejuvenating 2 bathrooms. Removed shower screens, taps and vanities. Will be sealing showers and then resurfacing walls and floor in both bathrooms and then the vanities and screens will be installed. So far into the process we have stripped the grout from the shower and bathroom walls, regrouted with a mould resistant grout with a sealant and then primed all the grout lines in the shower and half the bathroom walls. 02.01.2022 Before and after photos for another one of our lovely clients in Bligh Park. This is an example of dodgy workmanship which we come across a lot due to the cowboys in the industry. Epoxy was all over the shower screen and corner junctions, was thick and incorrectly applied causing mould. We had to remove the shower screen as there was no saving it from the epoxy. Shower screens should only ever be sealed with Silicone @sika_australia which has flexibility and easy to replace. We used @mapei_australia and applied correctly epoxy grout to the floor and perimeter and regrouted the walls with mould resistant grout from @ardexaustralia #epoxygrout #regrout #showerrepair #waterproofer #silicone

Shower had been resurfaced a few years ago and was not done correctly so the paint was chipping exposing the beautiful pale pink tiles and it had water leaking through the perimiter into the adjoining wardrobe.
