19.01.2022 The Moree Water Park development and maintenance wouldn’t be possible without the valued contribution our partners JobLink Plus and their team of job seekers. These teams help with everything from shelter construction and irrigation installation to mowing and garden maintenance. Unfortunately Covid-19 has suspended their involvement, so we’re asking for your help. We need the community’s assistance with everything from tree planting and irrigation installation, to the more re...gular tasks of mowing, spraying and whipper snipping. It’s a great opportunity to get out of the house (we will have social distancing measures in place) and to help develop and maintain the park. If you can spare a couple of hours it would be great to see you there, the whole family is welcome. Our President James will be on-site every Wednesday from 9am 3pm and would love the help of the community. If Wednesdays don’t suit, we’ll be organising days of tree planting and mowing subject to volunteer availability so please get in touch. We’re offering free 2020/21 Moree Water Ski Club Memberships to say thank you to those that lend a hand.

19.01.2022 Come & Try Day and Mini Slalom Tournament Want to learn waterskiing? Get some expert advice? Maybe get a feel for competition skiing? Well the Saturday February 22nd is the day for you! The club will be hosting a come and try day in conjunction with a mini slalom tournament. Experienced coaches will be on-hand to get you up for the first time, give you some expert tips and explain the ins and outs of competition skiing. ... Tell your family and friends, keep the date free and watch this space for more information.

18.01.2022 Rosco PK Coal Train (Ross Munro) from BMC Cotton Contractors took on the Toro mower job. Game Man!!! spent a bit of time with some electrical issues so back to the workshop for the Toro!! Thanks Ross, Scotty and Sam from BMC - your help mowing the driveway now looks great. We're offering free 2020/21 Club memberships to those that help out. ... 15.01.2022 We're running a drop in working bee next Saturday from 9am - 3pm. Mowing, weeding, spraying and planting are all on the cards, please, come on out and lend a hand.

13.01.2022 Need to get out of the house? It’s Wednesday, which means our President James will be toiling away at the Water Park from 9-3pm. If you’ve got a few hours to spare we’d love your support mowing, spraying, whipper snipping whatever you’re up for! For those that are handy, we’re also looking for volunteers to help us add doors and windows to a 40ft container and lay out a series of irrigation circuits. 12.01.2022 The B team are back together! Col Arthur and President James von Drehnen on Coviat Wednesday upgrading the front gate at the Moree Water Park. They installed additional conduit and fitted posts so that Guy Brabrook from Irelander computing can upgrade the CCTV system ready for the 20/21 season. A big shout out to Todd at Jocks Hire who has been a great supporter of the Club. If you need to hire a trencher, bobcat, or hole borer then call them first.... 06.01.2022 Thank you to Ian Davies - The Minister Extraordinaire! He was smart enough to jump on the John Deere and did a great job on the driveway and around the trees. Nothing like a bit of fresh air and sunshine to clear the sensors. 04.01.2022 If you’ve dropped by the water park lately you would have noticed our newest development, Gwydir Bay. Gwydir Bay is a designated swimming area and beach for the community. It’s roped off at the end of Lake 1 and comes complete with a shade shelter and jetty the perfect spot to cool off over our long summers. It’s not quite finished yet, the irrigation system and lawn are a work in progress but it will be ready to go in time for next summer! ... The Gwydir Bay development would not have been possible without the support of a grant from Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities, so thank you!
