If you have time, consider helping in our Tuckshop, join the P&C or volunteer at some of the many events at the school during the year. Every moment you are able to give is good for the soul, allows you to show off talents/skills, builds friendships and gives you a sense of pride :)

17.01.2022 Tomorrow, Tuesday 8th December, we will be having our annual whole-school Christmas Concert. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, family members will no...t be able to attend. Students are encouraged to wear a Christmas shirt or green/red clothing to school for this exciting event. Please ensure your child wears school-appropriate clothing, including sun-safe shirts and enclosed shoes. We look forward to celebrating this special event with all of our students! See more

17.01.2022 Today finalises another fantastic year at Waterford West. Congratulations to all our wonderful students for reaching for the stars all year and embracing changes to their learning journey. We would like to thank you all for your continued support all year. This year has been very successful and all fundraising goals have been achieved. See you in January 2021 to begin a bright new year with new projects to benefit all students :)
17.01.2022 Free items at the uniform shop We have a limited number of various uniform items (and some shirts for sports day) available for families. All items have some marks or slight damage but are still in usable condition, great for spares in the school bag for little ones.... No holds, first in best dressed :) Pop in and see us :) Tuesday/Thursday 8:15-9:00am
16.01.2022 Sports days Our superstars have been busy preparing during PE lessons and over the next 2 days they will participate in our annual sporting carnivals. Wednesday: yr4-6 Thursday: prep-yr3... Due to current restrictions families are unable to join us for these days. We will endeavour to provide updates throughout the days via facebook. Please dress your child in their team colours so they can cheer on their team mates. If you are unsure of your childs team, please call admin before school, they are more than happy to help :)
16.01.2022 Term 4 Student Free Days This year, holidays begin 2 days earlier. The school year will end on Wednesday 9th December. We are informing you early so if need be, there is plenty of time to make arrangements for care of your children.
16.01.2022 No pre-ordering required. Once school returns simply pop into the uniform shop (or order online VIA Munch Monitor) and purchase. P&C will inform families once the shirts arrive -tracking puts delivery at mid January at this stage $30 each
14.01.2022 Happy New Year to our amazing school community. In 2021 we would like to get to know you more. Come along to our meetings, our events and ask more to learn more. As a community we will continue to work together to raise our families to be the best they can be. If you have any suggestions/ideas on events we can be involved in/host to bring everyone together please let us know.

05.01.2022 A little something to celebrate our sports days Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to host our traditional BBQ and Bake Sale, so we are offering this ...meal deal to our sports superstars instead. Order online VIA Munch Monitor from Friday 2nd October until 8:45am each sports day. Note- All students can order this meal deal on either day
05.01.2022 Stop Drop and Go Zone This is to refresh our memories and ensure the safety of students, their families and the wider community.
03.01.2022 Colour Run4Fun Explosion Students participating in morning session are permitted to wear their spare clothes to school. Students participating in middle ses...sion are to come to school in uniform and change at 1st break. White shirts show the vibrant colours the best! $3 participation fee to be paid on the day (if you paid earlier in the year, no need to pay again). All students will receive sunglasses and a wristband to keep and an iceblock to cool them down. Due to Covid-19 restrictions parents are unable to attend this event. We will however endeavour to post photos for families to see. See more
03.01.2022 Help! The uniform shop is needing a second clothes rack for the 2nd hand uniforms. If you have one you are happy to part with, please consider donating it to us :) We are also after clothes hangers with clips (for pants/skirts). If you have any that are no longer needed at home, we would love them.... Thanks to our amazing families for their uniform donations. We are grateful to be a part of such a thoughtful and generous community.
02.01.2022 Tuckshop News Tuckshop will be closed on the last day of school for deep cleaning and stocktake- 9/12/20 Stock is currently being run down, be aware that some items are now out of stock for the year. If you place your order more than a day in advance and an item is no longer available a substitute will be offered. ... Sandwiches, salads, fruit items and bottled water will be in stock until last day of trade.
