22.01.2022 We stand with girls like Gisma who simply want a chance at an education so they can achieve their dreams. My best subject is science. When I grow up I want to become a doctor. At 15 years old, Gisma is working hard in school to make her dreams a reality. She goes to class with her best friend Gloria, she loves science, and now through our Keep a Girl in School program, she no longer worries about missing out on an education simply because they cant afford feminine hygiene products. Get involved now. http://ow.ly/2B7S50BlyWF

21.01.2022 At 11 years old, Jennifer was abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army. After living in captivity for 10 years, she escaped only to return home and face rejection by her family. Jennifer heard about #Watoto. Here she completed trauma rehabilitation and discipleship, and learned about the love of Jesus, enabling her to forgive. She was empowered with skills and became a leader in tailoring. Today, not only does she train other women who were just like her, but she is able to provide a home, food and an education for her family. Jennifer rejoices because her life is forever changed and she’s able to give her children a future full of hope. #WatotoNeighbourhood.

19.01.2022 Hello from some familiar faces :) Choir 107 sending you greetings from one of our Watoto Villages! Have a great evening everyone!

19.01.2022 Due to COVID-19, schools in Uganda were closed and movement on and off our villages was restricted. This meant some of our nannies and caretakers couldnt get to work. To help cover the staffing gap and ensure our babies were well taken care of, several of our young adults voluntarily stepped up to help. Were thankful for these promising future leaders, like Sarah and Jessy.

19.01.2022 Jackie was rescued when she was six years old and welcomed by her Watoto mother into her very own home filled with a loving family. Thank you for making this possible through your partnership with Watoto.
