24.01.2022 Today was the last day of clubs for the Grade 1 /2’s and 3/4’s. All students had a blast participating in the different clubs. 20.01.2022 Today some of our Green Team members attended the Kids Teaching Kids conference at Edendale. They learnt about solving waste problems to save our universe. 120 students from schools around our area participated and shared ideas. The kids had a lot of fun and are excited to share their knowledge with the rest of the Green Team

20.01.2022 Our clever Year 1 students were very busy in their Visual Art lesson this week. Students tackled basic stitching cards, designed patterns with threading materials and sorted water beads into colours.

17.01.2022 We hope everybody has a happy and safe holidays. School resumes on Tuesday 23rd of April. Have a relaxing break and a happy Easter.

15.01.2022 Yesterday the Preps went to Melbourne Zoo for their inquiry on Living Things. The weather was perfect! They attended an education session where they learnt a lot and had their questions answered. Each student was lucky enough to touch a snake or a turtle. A big thank you to the parents who took time out of their day to help the excursion run smoothly.

15.01.2022 On Friday the grade 1 and 2 students went to watch the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in the city. They had a fabulous time and enjoyed listening to the wonderful music.

13.01.2022 2020 Prep Enrolments- School tour dates are now available on the schools website at http://www.wats-north.vic.edu.au/in/enrolment/school-tours/ Please contact the school office on 9435 1285 if you would like to book in for a tour. Tours are approximately one hour in duration and are limited to 10 people.

13.01.2022 Yesterday 16 students performed at the State School Spectacular. They performed a matinee and at night time. Well done to all involved and congratulations on representing Watsonia North Primary School.

08.01.2022 Today the Preps has their last Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) session. It’s safe to say they had a ball! Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and friends who volunteered their time to help the sessions run smoothly!

07.01.2022 The students in Year 5/6 have been busy creating ‘Sugar Rush’ themed Papier-mâché sculptures in Visual Art. Donuts Cakes lollies milkshakes ice creams ....lots of sweetness. On display NOW in the main corridor. Come and see the amazing work.

06.01.2022 Cartoonist Richard Galbraith has spent the past 3 days visiting our school, sharing his cartooning skills with all of our students. They all enjoyed these ‘how to draw..’ lessons and produced AMAZING cartoon drawings.

04.01.2022 Today the Preps went back to kinder. A big thank-you to Warrawee Kinder, Watsonia North Pre-School and Watsonia Pre-School for hosting us. The kids had an absolute ball sharing with the kinder kids their favourite things about Prep and having a fun play! We can’t wait to see the kinder kids attending Watsonia North Primary School next year for Prep orientation next term!

01.01.2022 Today the Prep’s visited our local Watsonia Shops as part of their Inquiry into our community and team work. Thank you to the wonderful businesses that welcomed them and showed them how your business works. A big thank you to Tony, who owns the Fruit and Vegetable shop for handing out fruit to the students, Carol at the bakery who volunteered her time to inform the students about how their team works and Barbara from Watsonia Library who gave us an extensive tour and discussed all of the jobs and rolls that need to be completed as a team.
