24.01.2022 It might be still early to put in all our spring/summer vegies, but tomorrow I will be at the Wagga Producers markets with a variety of herb plants, flower seedlings and a handful of hardy veg seedlings ready to go in your garden! See you at the showgrounds tomorrow 1- 6.30pm

22.01.2022 The pretty flowers of the golden podded pea..... Stay warm, stay safe, great day to think about, and design that springtime garden....

20.01.2022 Before we made our new compost bays, I had been using an old 44 to put any old potting mix, cuttings and any old seedlings..... Obviously these seedlings decided they wanted to live on... coriander, chervil, Silverbeet, kale and broccoli all growing beautifully together....

15.01.2022 These are my baby tomatoes and basil all coming along in the hothouse... Yep, they are still small as I don't use any artifical heating or lights, they are grown to suit our season Starting to transplant some of the bigger tomatoes, so all going well they maybe ready in a couple of weeks... will keep everyone posted on all spring/summer veg as it is available! Have a great weekend, stay safe and keep on gardening

14.01.2022 Is your salad garden starting to look more like a flower garden? Do not worry, as the seasons begin to change some veg plants reach the end of their time Enjoy the flowers as they attract pollinators to the garden, and give hungry bees a food source Did you know many of these flowers can be added to your meals.... or you can leave them to form seeds and create new plants for you to enjoy again and again......

14.01.2022 Spring has certainly sprung Tomorrow I will have our first round of heirloom homegrown tomato seedlings available at the Riverina Producers Market in Wagga! BEWARE: We are in for some cold weather, tomatoes do not like the cold..... if you already have your plants in make sure to cover them well over the next few nights. If keen to get tomatoes started best to keep them in a pot( move to safe position at night) until all risk of frost has passed Will be selling locally soon, stay tuned
