25.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. Just a reminder that there are NO worship services at Wattle Grove Baptist tomorrow, March 22. We are working on a plan to recommence morning worship services on a limited basis, along with live streaming. We hope to have all of these details worked out this week, and to begin next Sunday. We ask you for your patience, as well as your prayers.... Remember: Keep yourselves save. Pray for one another. Look out for the weak and vulnerable. Trust in God, for: 'Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ'.

24.01.2022 Jesus said that the second greatest command in the Bible is that we: "Love our neighbour as ourselves". But what does this mean? What does this look like in practice?... That will be our topic this Sunday morning in our morning service, beginning at 9:30. I look forward to seeing you then.

16.01.2022 It is election day next week. Our letterboxes are crammed full of pamphlets. Our TV screens are filled with advertisements. And when you look at your ballot paper, you will find a large amount of names and parties. In the electorate of Swan, we have ten people standing for the House, and in WA there are some twenty-four different political parties represented for the Senate! So how will you vote? Who you vote for is none of my business, but this Sunday morning we will b...e looking at Romans 13:1-7, and we will be looking at: "The Purpose of Government". And, as we better see why God instituted government, we can better understand who we should be casting our vote for.

14.01.2022 As you know, the Government has banned all non-essential indoor gatherings of more than one hundred people. That order does not directly impact upon us, so at the moment, our regular Sunday Morning service will go ahead as scheduled. However, we would ask that you continue to take normal hygiene precautions: 1) Wash your hands thoroughly.... 2) Refrain from signs of affection (handshakes, hugging, kissing) with non-family members. 3) If you cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or into your sleeve. 4) If you have a cold, or display 'flu-like symptoms', for the health and welfare of others, please stay home. 5) If you feel uncomfortable coming out in the current emergency, and would prefer to stay home anyway, that is perfectly all right. Spend time in prayer. Read your Bible. Allow God to speak, and listen to him. Continue to trust.

13.01.2022 And, on Sunday evening at 6pm, we will be continuing our look at the Wisdom Literature, focussing on Proverbs 1-9. I look forward to seeing you.

13.01.2022 Even though we are unable to meet this morning for prayer at 10AM, I would like to encourage you all to stop at that time (if you are able to), and spend time in prayer to God for: 1) Your family 2) Your neighbours 3) Your friends... 4) Our State and National leaders 5) Our country 6) Those serving in Missions, either here, or in other countries. 7) The ongoing work of the church here. 07.01.2022 Our Christmas Carols Service is this Sunday, at 9:30AM. Everyone is welcome and invited. Below is part of our advertising to our community for this event.

05.01.2022 This is, of course, from a satirical website. But think for a minute, do we ever do this? Demand that "someone in the church has to do . . . ", but never volunteer to do that ourselves?... https://babylonbee.com//family-that-never-volunteers-for-a

03.01.2022 And on Sunday evening beginning at 6pm, we will be continuing our look at the book of Proverbs, especially at what Proverbs teaches us about: Discipline and Correction. Two things that none of us really like - but all of us probably need.
