24.01.2022 Nancy our Brahman orphan, with her first baby by Ardrossan Blade.

21.01.2022 Finally a sunny day! I have been waiting to get some photos of my Ardrossan Blade heifer calves. Added bonus the cows are sired by my bull Barregowa Fergus, this is looking to be a promising cross.

17.01.2022 If anyone is interested in a Lowline bull I have one currently available.

16.01.2022 Beautiful day to treat the cattle for buffalo flies and ticks and to have a paddock change. They are loving all this green grass

15.01.2022 Ylang you did it again. A beautiful baby boy. Not bad for an old girl.

13.01.2022 Name suggestions? Little Bull calf made his appearance on ANZAC day and I would like a ANZAC themed name for him. Name must start with the letter R. Mum is Minx Dad is Blade.

11.01.2022 Vitulus Ylang Ylang DOB: 24/01/2003 (Yes that’s correct she is 16 years old!) This wonderful old girl produces a calf for me every year and without a doubt I can % guarantee that her calf will be not only the quietist come weaning time but also one of the best looking. ... I was going to make this her last year calving and retire her to the weaner paddock but she has surprised me with how well she bounced back after producing this beautiful big bull calf on the 12/06/19.So I have decided to let her have one more calf before becoming a lady of leisure. She does get some special treatment, as I will monitor her weight closely and when she starts to struggle I will feed her, but I have to be careful as she is the sort of cow to put everything into her milk and then get mastitis as her calf can only drink so much I will also wean her calf when it becomes to much of a strain on her although last year she got to 7 months before I weaned and it was a drier year than this one. Currently she is just on grass and minerals with the occasional bale of Rhodes grass hay that I deem unworthy for my spoilt horses getting chucked into them and holding well. Below is some photos I took yesterday afternoon of Ylang and her month old bull calf Wattlebar Quigley Mcquiggins. He is sired by Barregowa Fergus.

11.01.2022 Just an update on our Brahman cross Lowline heifer. She is growing like a weed and is a serial pest. You can’t walk through the paddock without a scratch and a head-butt!

09.01.2022 Ardrossan Blade enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

08.01.2022 Tried to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and take some photos of this years calves... half on the ground, a few to calve in the coming months.

07.01.2022 This might be a better photo to show off the big girl

07.01.2022 Moving the girls to a new paddock. They are following mum.

04.01.2022 Big bodied girls make the world go round. Just admiring these two full sisters. Really love the depth in their bodies.

01.01.2022 Ahh just watched this little dude make his wobbly entrance to the world this morning #farmlife #australianlowline
