15.01.2022 As tomorrow is our last day/night, it is with great importance to us to truly thank each and every one of you for your endless support and patronage, we have worked very hard to provide high quality food at affordable prices. And will miss the wonderful people we have met on our 7 year journey. We wish you all good health and happiness. On a personal note: Stuart and I would like to thank from the bottom of our heart, Our head chef Brad, for being a loyal and hard working... part of our business, he treated the business like his own, with amazing professionalism and dedication, we are proud to call him our friend, no words will be able to express our appreciation. Thank you so much for sticking with us till the end and having our backs. Our family for all the endless support and understanding, we have leant on your for so many things, helping us in the kitchen, babysitting, suggestions, moments of venting and for reassuring us that all we have sacrificed was worth it in the end. We love you all so very much xx And last but not least I personally would like to thank my amazing husband and children, our boys were so young when we took on this massive task, they had to put up with a lot of long hours and stressful times, they have worked for us in the kitchen, which isn't easy and given so much support and advice along the way. We are so proud of you both and thank you for putting up with some hard years, we now have the opportunity to make up for lost time. Stu u took on a massive task making Asquith Golf Club Catering what it is today, you have worked so damn hard, taking bistro bookings and function enquiries till all hours of the night, working in that kitchen always providing the best meals at great prices having the customers interest at heart, you never took the easy way out, you worked so many hours at the club and then came home to do it all again working on the books and doing all the paperwork till early hours of the morning 7 days a week. You never doubted for a second if it was worth it, you just held your head high you kept working so damn hard, always putting 100% into everything you did. We have been faced with so many obstacles and you faced them all with such dignity. I'm so proud of you and all you have done for your family and community. Once again Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts Signing out for the last time as "Wattle it be Catering" best wishes and Heath to you all. 15.01.2022 Goodbye and Farewell Stuart Cosgrove and Melanie Cosgrove have provided an affordable and Quality food service at the Asquith golf Club for nearly 7 years. Along with Chefs Brad Stratton and Andrew Hill they have always strived to meet the expectations and demand for good service & quality food, always pushing to meet consumer needs/demands & encouraging patronage through first time and return business in Bistro and Function Trade. It is with great dismay that Wattle it be C...atering advises all patrons, guests and supporters that our contract at the Asquith Golf Club will be finishing up. The new contract proposed for negotiation did not meet our foreseeable plan for growth for both Club and Caterer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and helped us in any way, shape or form. We are currently still operating, so you can still pop in for one last meal. **Final date to be determined**we might see you at our next venture whatever that may be We wish Asquith Golf Club Management & Board of Directors all the best for the future, knowing that Wattle it be Catering has put the catering/ food service in an infallible position. 04.01.2022 To all the loyal and devoted patrons of Wattle it be Catering we are excited to announce that Asquith Golf Club Ltd is Welcoming back Stuart Cosgrove, Brad Stratton and Andrew Hill. Monday 9th April, only a few weeks away Stuart (Catering & Functions Manager), Brad (Head Chef) and Andrew (Chef) are equally excited about returning to the Club as Asquith Golf Club employees and are committed to delivering service and quality to our Members and guests.... "The change in catering arrangements last year was intended to deliver better results to the Club. Clearly the desired outcomes have not been achieved and the level of service has been questionable. The current model of in-house catering can work, providing we have the right "team" driving catering and functions" **excerpts from presidents message**. President Stephen Robbins and the Board of directors believe they now have the right people in place to make the catering operations everything it was and more. Stuart was instrumental in re-building pennant hills bowling club and establishing Wattle it be catering at Asquith Golf club, and believes he has the right tools, people and support to do the same at The Asquith Golf Club Start date has been set for Tuesday April 3, with Dining to Re-open on Monday APRIL 9th. It is critical that the team have the opportunity to re-establish themselves, with new menus to be developed, stock ordered and systems to be put in place that interface with the whole operations of the Club. To this end, the Clubhouse will not be available for dining from 30 March to 8 April. Half way will continue to be in operation throughout this period and Basic items will still be available from the Bar. To Stuart, Brad and Andrew, welcome back guys!!.. Stephen Robbins club president has been instrumental in this process Hope to see everyone back frequenting the club once the operation is up and running in a few weeks time
