13.01.2022 Was great to see so many of Councils staff at a prostate health education session presented by the Limestone Coast Prostate Cancer Support Group earlier this week. Whilst they were here, the group expressed their thanks for Councils $10,000 contribution towards the purchase of a Transperineal biopsy machine, to be used at Mount Gambier, Millicent and Naracoorte Hospitals. This machine will enable Limestone Coast men to have their biopsy performed as close as possible to home

12.01.2022 The old Penola post box was returned to its home today, after getting a bit of a spruce up The box needed to be removed to allow for footpath and kerb renewal works along Church Street, in front of the post office. Whilst in storage, it was restored in a joint project by Council, Peter Balnaves and the Penola History Group. It is great to see it back where it belongs. Nice work by all involved
