21.01.2022 On the last Friday of every month, our staff are able to wear casual clothing in exchange for a donation. The money raised is collected among our offices and donated to a different charity of choice each month. This month's chosen charity is Beyond Blue whose primary focus is on the needs of people affected by depression, anxiety and suicide. Beyond Blue works with the community to improve mental health and prevent suicide, so that all people in Australia can achieve their best possible mental health. #mentalhealth #charity #community #suicideprevention #support #donation #mentalhealthawareness #beyondblue

06.01.2022 WMC is pleased to support the very important Webinar to be presented on Mon 23 Nov, by the World Congress on Family Law & Children's Rights of which Justin Dowd is a Director, International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) of which Barry Frakes is a Governor and LAWASIA (The Law Association for Asia and the Pacific) of which Justin is a recently retired Vice President. The Webinar promises a cutting edge look at the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic on family violence around... the world. As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread worldwide, it introduces multiple new stresses, including physical and psychological health risks, isolation and loneliness, the closure of schools and businesses, economic vulnerability and job losses. Around the world, as communities have gone into lockdown to stop the spread of the virus, the mass efforts to save lives have put adults in abusive relationships and their children more at risk. This joint webinar sees a multi-disciplinary panel comprising lawyers, social workers and law enforcement in a discussion about the issues and possible solutions both through the courts and through the community.
