22.01.2022 Now this post is regarding the Friday Hot Lunch roster. New families this is what we do every Friday during terms 2 and 3. A volounteer family make something hot for the kids to eat on Fridays, it has to be enough for roughly 45 serves, whether its a pot of soup, sausage rolls, a pasta dish or perhaps a baked potato! You will be reimbursed for ingredients if you like, just talk to Sue, and if you can help dish the food up at 11am on Friday that would be great. It costs the ki...ds $3 for lunch and that money goes towards the schools fundraising, as does the money raised from Monday Munchies. You may all be aware that the school plans on a much needed upgrade to the playground, a project that relies on fundraising dollars. We would Iike to have the playground project completed well before the end of the year, for all children to make use of, and thats why we ask all families to help out in any way they can. Please comment below what week you can help out with and what you would like to make. Thanks everyone. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone, after chatting to a couple of Mum's over the weekend, it made me realise that while it's SO good to have the kids back at school, not only for their education but also for their social development, with the restrictions on picking up and dropping off kids, and no sport, us parents perhaps may be missing the quick catch ups that would happen before and after school. With people working from home, and travel discouraged, it's easy to feel completely isolated. Just know that we are all feeling a bit lost at the moment, but a phone call here or a message there sure isn't going to put anybody out, if your feeling a bit out of the loop, drop someone a message or give them a call. Now that I have joined the 21st century, I have a mobile so am happy for a chat anytime. Hang in there everyone! Cath Koros

04.01.2022 Big THANKS once again to WPS staff who have greeted us all at pick up today with everything the kids will need for remote learning 2.0 on Wednesday! Not to mention the big box of Brekky club items! Jazz apples are the fave since TAS Trip IN 2012. Remote learning is going to have its moments for sure BUT we will get through this AGAIN, let’s hope it’s only for the remainder of Term 3, we all have each other in a different form, I am only a text away if anyone’s needs a chat and I’m sure I will need a chat some nights too. Stay Safe everyone, enjoy family time as much as you can. Let’s smash this again and kick COVID-19 to the kirb.
