21.01.2022 Advice received this morning from Wauchope Country Club...greenkeeper ... bowls today is cancelled due weather. Stayed tuned for updates for Saturday and Sunday events should excess rain impede play.

06.01.2022 Huge day last Sunday ...60 members turned up for our annual Ham Day. 3 games of 3 bowl pairs (15 ends each) and we were blessed with next to no rain. Our event was sponsored by Beaurepaires from Port Macquarie and Wauchope. Andy Beazley - Manager from Wauchope BeaurepaIres presented the major prize winners. A huge thanks to BeaurepaIres for your ongoing support. Overall winners on the day were Lester Thurgate and Mark Arndell, 2nd winners close behind were Pete Marsden and R...osie Ansley...third spot Lil Allen and Craig Shaw. Stokes Butchery helped us support 30 hams for the raffle. Steve and restraunt staff dished up a great meal at lunch...thanks Steve and staff :) Let's not forget Shani Edwards who looked after us with refreshments during lunch and post event... Lastly, thanks to all our members for your participation. The Wauchope Bowling Club committee members extend their Christmas greetings and wish you and your families all the best for year ahead. 04.01.2022 Notice to bowlers: Today's sponsored single entry 3 bowl pairs has been cancelled due limited nominations and inclement weather. Our greens got a good drenching overnight with a reported 83 mm. Enjoy the rain :)... Our Ham Day is still on...the weather forecast looks kind to us at this stage. We can expect the greens to be a little slower than normal. See you all Sunday morning :)
