23.01.2022 Good Morning beautiful people! Apologies for being a bit quiet, we are still here! How are you all going? Have you rearranged your entire house yet? Worn out your comfy clothes? Walked the dog 5 times a day?... It's been fun seeing all the funny side of things on the amazing world wide web. Some people have too much time on their hands,...oh wait! From the bin outing group to the memes to the skits to the funny puzzles where you have to find all the songs. What have you found that's been making you smile or laugh?



21.01.2022 Happy Wednesday everyone! We had a great night on Monday at our Information night! Thank you everyone for coming! And also to all our volunteers that helped & produced all the amazing food & drinks! We are all set to start this coming Monday evening with our 8 week Depression & Anxiety Recovery Programme. We are all so excited to finally be able to run this again after the last couple of years. If you missed it or know anyone that might be interested in the programme it's no...t too late!! 19.01.2022 GOOD MORNING! Yes...I'm talking to you Last night's DARP was great as always! I actually think each night gets better than the last. Great food, great people & wow the learning! So good to see everyone including some new people that joined us. Please know that we know how hard it can be to take that step inside the building. Even to just get out of the house! 17.01.2022 With all this isolation business & colder weather it's perfect book reading time! Reading is such a good way to relax and escape. And it's also good for you! It positively impacts your brain, your vocabulary, it can help with sleep and also help with depression! ... So many benefits from the simple act of curling up and reading a book! Have you ready any good books lately? Or are there any you want to read?

11.01.2022 Hello wonderful people! I hope you have all had a great weekend & are feeling excited for the week ahead. Alternatively, if it was a tough one, good on you for getting through it! Tomorrow is a new day & a new week full of new opportunities! Session 1 starts tomorrow night for our Depression & Anxiety Recovery Programme! So excited to see all the wonderfully brave people again that we met last week! Session 1 has loads of great information all about understanding Anxiety & ...Depression and that wonderfully complicated thing in our heads, the brain! Understanding how Anxiety & Depression impacts the brain is the first step to taking control of your life. And that first step is a powerful one! A tough one but a powerful one! 11.01.2022 Being heard & listened to is such a simple yet incredibly powerful thing. Sometimes just being there for someone & just validating their thoughts & emotions can be all that person needs to get through whatever moment their having. Have you experienced this? Do you have someone that you can go to at times of need that you know will just 'hear' you?

You can use it to reflect on the previous week and identify what you have enjoyed & learned but also to prepare for the next week ahead. ... We may not be able to always control what daily life throws at us but we can prepare ourselves & our home to make sure that we can handle it the best way we can! 04.01.2022 Happy Tuesday! Well last night we had a our first session and it was..... GREAT! Lots of amazing food (again)lots of beautiful people, and lots of information to absorb! But as long as you take away one thing that helps you then that's all that matters! The first step is the hardest but the MOST POWERFUL! YOU CAN DO IT! 03.01.2022 Sunshine. Winter time. Seasonal affective disorder. What do all these words have in common? Vitamin D.... Vitamin D is VITAL for our health. Our mental health & our physical health. It affects us in so many ways that we really need to make sure that we are getting our fill each day such as going for a 30 minute walk. Twice a day if you can manage! Or even gardening! How do you get your vitamin D?

02.01.2022 Good Evening beautiful people! Well that's a wrap for another week in our lives. I personally tried to focus on some good habits like going for a walk out in the vitamin D (otherwise known as the glorious sun) drinking plenty of water and thinking positive thoughts! I also chased a rainbow which I wouldn't have done or even seen if I hadn't of been outside for my walk. Amazing how little things like that happen With the few challenges I had this week those few little things that I focussed on definitely made a difference in getting through the week stronger & happier than I would have 6 months ago! What about you? Did you focus on some good habits this week?
