05.01.2022 Start collecting those single socks (you know every home has them)! Port Macquarie Rotary Club West is attempting to break the Guiness World Record - and they n...eed our help. Back in May 2014, a small German town built a 6.066km washing line with 69,152 socks, but that record is about to be broken. The goal is to build a 10km washing line with more than 100,000 socks at Sovereign Hills in early June. In the process Rotary hopes to raise vital funds to help not-for-profits in the Port Macquarie Hastings area. So how can you get involved? We will soon have collection bins for your single socks at Sovereign Place and Wauchope IGAs so stay tuned - and start collecting. . . . #proudsponsors #localssupportinglocals #rotaryclubofportmacquariewest #sovvyhills #sovereignplacetowncentre #hastingscoop #iga #sovereignplaceiga #guinnessworldrecord #socks #communitysupport #australianattempt See more
