He is a geotechnical engineer with over 20 years’ experience with the offshore oil and gas industry. Over the last 5 years, He has redirected his research efforts towards offshore renewables, pursuing scientific interests and becoming acutely aware of the imperative for renewable energy and its potential for the Australia...n economy. Christophe is a Professor at The University of Western Australia where he established the National Geotechnical Centrifuge Facility a world-leading 650sqm laboratory on the UWA Crawley campus that supports over 50 research and industry projects every year.
