21.01.2022 Tomorrow is game day! Finally, after a long wait, the purple and green will be back on the court. Game day will look a little different to what we are used to for the foreseeable future, so please work with us to abide by the rules and adopt the practices required by Netball Qld. Key things to remember are: 1. Maximum of five parents per team watching (not including the coach and manager).Your team manager will be in touch to facilitate how this is organised/rostered each we...ek. Social distancing must be practiced at all times while watching. All parents attending will be required to scan the QR code with a mobile phone around the court when arriving and then when leaving. 2. Arrive at the courts 15 mins prior to the game start. Everyone must vacate the courts immediately after the game. 3. BYO refreshments: there are no water bubblers operating so players need to ensure they have enough water to last the game. The canteen will also be closed. No shared fruit at half time. BYO supplies of fruit for each player. Contact your team manager with any other specific questions. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

21.01.2022 ATT PARENTS: We have a lack of seating options in the hall today so please BYO chair to trials. Thanks

02.01.2022 COVID UPDATE FOR BNA MEMBERS Dear Clubs and Valued members, As you are all aware, our netball community has already been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pande...mic with the postponement of all community netball until 30th June 2020 as announced by Netball Queensland in late March 2020. in accordance with the latest guidelines from Government and health officials: Our strongest recommendation to the Netball Queensland community is to suspend all formal netball activity at all levels, inclusive of competitions and programs, until Tuesday 30 June. As an affiliated Association, we have aligned with the NQ recommendation of suspending all netball activities until the 30th June and therefore advise that our 2020 Winter Day Season and 2020 NetSetGO Programs has been delayed until at least the July 18th 2020 and will not be commencing on 25th April and 9th May respectively as previously planned. To be clear, we have not cancelled our 2020 Winter Season nor our 2020 NetSetGO program but have just delayed the commencement dates of both and as such, will not be offering any refunds on registration fees as we sincerely hope that we get all our players back on the courts in 2020. The Representative season is also suspended at this time. Netball QLD have announced the 2020 Nissan State Age Event has been rescheduled to September 26th-29th. There will be no organised training for Rep until 30th June at the earliest. As we have all experienced, circumstances are continuously changing in this current climate, so any decisions made now may need to be reviewed in light of further warnings or additional restrictions. To keep Associations well informed, Netball QLD will also be meeting with Associations via teleconference on Wednesday 8th April to provide an update on all community netball, competitions and events. All relevant information from this meeting will be shared with you all. Staying active and healthy during these upcoming months is very important and we encourage members to use the courts here at BNA for your fitness and netball practice. When doing so, please make sure to adhere strictly to the social distancing rules, including only training with family members or with 1 friend for safety. Do not mix or socialize with other people while at the courts, avoid more than 2 families on each court at one time and stay at either end if possible. If there are too many people around, go home and return later in the day. This is not a social outing and should be for your allocated 1 hour of exercise per day. We also ask that weights, slam balls, kettle bells, scooter, bikes, roller blades/skates and skateboards are not used on the courts due to possible damage they may make to surface. These items can be used on the grass or vacant car park areas of Bradbury Park. We will continue to provide our members will relevant updates as necessary and wish to assure all members that your health and well-being is the BNA Board’s highest priority. Yours in netball, Scott Christie CHAIRMAN BRISBANE NETBALL ASSOCIATIO
