23.01.2022 Wavell State High School was proud to host the biennial multi-cultural concert. On Friday 21 August 2020 Students worked hard to prepare and rehearse performances which in previous years would have been presented to our full school community in the evening. This year COVID-19 meant that we could not host a full community event so we have filmed the concert and made it available on our YouTube Channel. We hope that you enjoy the performance as much as we all did during the concert. https://wavellshs.eq.edu.au//news/multicultural-concert2020

03.01.2022 To our parents and P players, during Road Safety Week, please consider your driving around our neighbouring streets. 1. Are you driving suitably to the conditions? 40km/hr may be excessive when there are many people and cars around. 2. Parking in no standing zones to pick up students, such as the White St end of Telopia Ave, is illegal, unsafe and makes the congestion worse. 3. Organise to pick up your child a couple of streets away from the busiest areas to avoid congestion.... 4. Be thoughtful to our neighbours. Parking over driveways is not acceptable, not even for a minute while youre waiting for your child. Thank you for your consideration and patience around our neighbourhood. See more
