24.01.2022 Hi everyone. Just letting you know that if you have a HSP 80300 transmitter that this also works with the FlySky FS-GR3 receivers so you dont have to get it overseas. We test a lot of the transmitter to find out which works with what.
23.01.2022 Due to tomorrow morning (25 Apr 16) being ANZAC Day, Wave Propagation will not be sending out orders as all of us will be attending the Dawn Ceremony as well as the March in the City. Hope our followers understand that although this has nothing to do with RCs, it has everything to do with being an Aussie.

21.01.2022 Food for thought: We find it quite funny that a lot of sellers on eBay who claim to be from Darwin happens to be away during this time of the year. Seems like too much of a coincidence that sellers in China are also away. Is it possible that they are not really in Darwin? Hmmm

Please note that this seller is claiming that we (Wave Propagation) will cover it with 6 months warranty. We will not do so as we have security marking on all the product we sell to confirm authentic products that comes from us. We dont want our reputation tarnish with none tested overseas models. Please also note the price he is asking for $21.

20.01.2022 During Christmas, we actually have a little more time with regards to replying to our suppliers. This is a classic one whereby we were asked initially if we have received our order yet and if not could we do their job for them and ask our local post office where it is. You would think that since they are the ones who sent it with a tracking number that they would be able to find it. I know if I was a post office worker and someone asked me to go to the back and find this package without a clue about the tracking number that I would say piss off, so I sent my reply with a touch of nepotism, all be it not true but it was more of a what would they think about my return request.

16.01.2022 We got a message asking us if we could modify our 4.76mm Teflon Washer so that they could use it for their fishing reel (part number 14279). Well its not impossible I guess as we have already done modifications for or 1/4" Teflon Washer before for one of the boats that was in the Sydney to Hobart Yatch Race last year.

12.01.2022 Weve just had a customer who owns a Surge Crusher and wanted a larger variety of props available for him to use. The problem is that the prop shaft is welded on to the Flexshaft and the diameter of the prop shaft is actually 5mm compared to 4.76mm that TFL, Octura and other manufacturers provide. What can we do? Well we can shave that 0.24mm off and all you need to have is a 4.76mm drive dog and youre done.

08.01.2022 Binding the FS-GR3F compared to the FS-GR3E. Whenever we sell any of these receivers, we always provide binding instructions to avoid frustration for our customers. The problem is that most of you (me included) dont read instructions and tend to just bin it because we have had these before and dont need a piece of paper to tell me how to do it. The thing is that we print the instructions on the back of your receipt so its probably a good idea to keep it as proof of purch...ase if there is any issue with it. The second thing is that there is a variation when it comes to binding a FS-GR3E as oppose to the FS-GR3F as one of our customer have recently experienced. With the FS-GR3E, you place the bind plug on the "BIND/CH3" post. Pretty straight forward. The FS-GR3F needs to have the bind plug on the "BIND/VCC" post. You can see it clearly with the photos provided. Now if you are using the "BIND/VCC" post to power your receiver, you can use any other post between CH1 to CH3 post to power the receiver. Everything else is as per normal procedure. Hopefully this clears things up: you must read the instructions provided. If you have any other difficulties then get in contact with us. 03.01.2022 At Wave Propagation, we dont just test the products we sell, we also test other sellers just to make sure that we stand out from the rest crowd. Some people may know this and other may not, but its illegal in Australia to sell products that you dont actually have. You dont have to be a genius to know why, the authorities dont have enough resources to keep up. We recently tried to purchase items from sellers based in Darwin and tried to get them to send to a different a...ddress than our default address on eBay (to simulate people wanting to buy something for someone else as a gift for example). All the same product, purchased at different time and different address and found that they only do "Drop Sale". What is Drop Sale you wonder? Well its where the seller based overseas, but register an account in Australia would freight the item from overseas. It then arrives in Australia under freight forwarding rules, then to the buyer. As a buyer wanting to only buy items from Australian seller are duped in thinking that they are supporting true Australian based seller, but in fact they are vying direct overseas and paying a premium to do so. These sellers are also using the cover of being in Darwin to hide the fact that its delays in delivery is because of the distance of Darwin to all other major capital cities. These sellers dont give a damn about Australian laws because they are not a registered business here which is why buyers are easily brushed off. They also work on probability that if only 1% of the buyer complains about the swindle, its worth the risk. Reality is that only one in a thousand makes a complaint. How can you help fix this? Look closely at their feedback before buying and avoid buying from sellers in Darwin as we have one of our people there at the moment and lets just say that there is not a lot of products coming out of Darwin via Australia Post. If you dont believe is just check it out yourself.
