10.01.2022 We have been notified by Waverley Netball Centre that the 2020 Spring Season has officially been cancelled. We're now looking ahead and planning for Autumn 2021. We're pleased to announce to all players that fees paid for Autumn/Spring 2020 will be rolled over in full to Autumn 2021. Please note this does not include Netball Victoria membership (this has been addressed directly by Netball Vic).

05.01.2022 On Tuesday night, the City of Monash passed its draft budget. In these Covid-19 times, as a gesture of support to our ratepayers, residents and businesses, we h...ave proposed a waiver of 10% to the 2020/21 Council rates. To the best of my knowledge, we are the only Council in Victoria to propose a waiver to rates of any kind. We're able to make this decision based on many years of surpluses, prudent financial management and through a series of cuts we have made across the board. While we couldn't sustain these cuts long-term, we've made the tough decisions in order to provide short-term relief to our community. When this crisis began, we promised we would be there for our community during the tough times and during the recovery, and this is as tough as it gets. The most immediate financial assistance we can give our community is to reduce the amount of rates people pay, whilst still being able to maintain our essential services that we know our residents expect Rates are critical to use providing essential services such as rubbish collection, libraries, maintenance of roads and footpaths, sporting facilities, child immunisation and meals on wheels We remain the metropolitan council with the lowest rates on a rate per assessment basis and the lowest rates for any council in the State on a per capita basis Find out more in the video below!
