23.01.2022 So it was a tough day yesterday with a DNF in the most gruelling PWC race on the planet. After reflecting on what we achieved as a team, very proud of everyone for hitting our targets we set before we arrived. The boat was spot on, we worked all week to achieve the ultimate setup and we ended up with a very fast boat, with very low rpm, timing and perfect engine temperatures. However in the end, something as simple as a split intercooler would take us out of the race, the engine would expire after over 160km of flat out running with water leaking into the combustion chamber. Extremely disappointing, but also proud of the boat we presented. We didn’t come to make up numbers, and we didn’t come to fall into a result, we came to win and we’ll come back next year to try and win. #nextyear #worxracing #mitchwaytracing
