14.01.2022 A delivery of new birch panels! Encaustic art is made with beeswax so normal canvases can't be used. A flexible canvas would eventually crack my wax art and ruin it. These wooden panels are perfect for encaustic painting because they don't bend and the wax gets absorbed into the wood fusing them together forever. I have so many ideas for these boards! ... 07.01.2022 I'm going bush I'm selling my house and moving to my little farm over the next few months!! So I'll be taking a break from social media and custom orders. Wax & Flame will still be open for business and I'll still be making candles for those orders but I won't be working on new products until I'm all moved in at the new house. 03.01.2022 Today I'm getting on the tools and making more candle dippers. Having dippers set to specific sizes will make my workflow much more efficient. Gotta love that! Do you reakon all tradies make hearts with their hex nuts?
