23.01.2022 Having my beautiful little girl has ultimately been the #1 reason I started Waxing Adelaide AU. Being there for her every day, watching her grow. Being home with her will also allow her to grow and learn the value of hard work, simply by observing, and being in the entrepreneurial environment. Growing up I was blessed to have this type of role model in my life and it taught me so many valuable lessons. Whats the biggest lessons you've learnt from those around you while you we...re growing up? Leave us a comment below, we'd love to hear. How having a baby changed my professional life http://bit.ly/2IO1muO

23.01.2022 ~ COVID-19 and your hair removal ~ During this time I am currently not taking on any new clients to ensure the safety of myself, my family and my existing clientele. I thank you for your understanding I understand amongst the stress going on throughout the world currently that your normal hair removal may be the last thing on your mind. For those who are avid waxers/sugarers and wish to maintain your hair during this period of uncertainty whether you are in isolation or we ha...ve closures through SA your best option is to trim the hair as using either a razor or hair removal creams can affect your hair growth cycles in which case when your services resume as normal you will be starting over from the beginning and notice erratic hair growth patterns, shorter windows of hair-free time between visits and it can take 3-5 sessions to get everything back to its normal patterns. Your best option if you can handle having some hair is to use hair clippers and ensure that you use an attachment blade to allow the hair to all be at the same length as if some hairs are quite a lot shorter when you resume normal services they may not all be able to be removed and will also affect ongoing results for a few treatments. I understand not everyone can handle being hairy for extended periods so I am currently looking at options for how to best assist those people to remain hair-free during the coming months from home, which may include small video training courses for specific areas and how you are best able to perform these treatments on yourself with easily accessible products. I hope everyone stays well and healthy. If you have any other enquiries for during this time feel free to send a message via Facebook, Email or SMS.

19.01.2022 The History Of Waxing The Egyptians are known for the being the trendsetters for many beauty rituals. The woman of ancient Egypt used to remove all of the hair on their bodies, some including the hair on their heads! While hair removal these days is considered part of any beauty regime, purely for aesthetic reasons, it first originated in Middle Eastern countries in order to reduce parasites, fleas, lice and body odour which were all very common when living in such hot conditions. It has long been tradition that even the men are completely hairless. With few options, they made waxes out of sugar and beeswax and used tweezers made from seashells (can you believe!?). 17.01.2022 Brazillian Waxing Myths Busted 1) You cant go, when Aunt Flow is in town. The common theory that you cant possibly get a wax when you have your period is completely untrue. Womans menstrual cycles are a part of life and whether we like it or not they will appear once a month for the majority of our lives. While this is certainly a myth, there is still a downside to having a wax while on your period, you are more sensitive, but this goes for every part of the body. I dont ...advise coming in on your first day of menstruation, perhaps come towards the end. In saying this, lets not forget there are 3 other weeks each month where you are completely free. So unless you really need it done, its best to make use of the time your Aunt Flow isnt in town. Read More: http://bit.ly/2pzh7z7
