18.01.2022 Hi Guys it’s Waxy (Glenn Walker) I’m giving a big shout out to anyone suffering from mental health conditions. You are the true hero’s each and everyday that you make an effort to move forward with your lives. And to anyone who hasn’t had to deal with a serious mental health condition please don’t assume you understand or pass judgement, because we will never know what another person has to deal with in their own mind each and every day. It’s not obvious! If someone doesn’t... turn up regularly to functions or gatherings or they lock themselves away in solitude or hide and choose not to socialise or converse please don’t assume you understand their reasons. The daily mental struggles that some people have are very very real so please don’t run around making unfounded comments like, for example, oh they don’t come because they think they are better than everyone else because that’s pretty much the last thing on their mind. They probably don’t come because it is too painful and stressful and overbearing to have to deal with their internal workings when they put themselves in those sorts of situations. Situations that the bulk of the population just take for granted and deal with as part of just another day. Please don’t judge or make comment on anyone’s decisions in life because we truly have no idea what people are dealing with. Self preservation is extremely important for survivors of serious mental health conditions. Not everyone does survive. Our world right now needs understanding and compassion. See more
04.01.2022 We are stoked to be kicking off the new Financial year with our first Saturday session at Codie's Place next Saturday July 3rd from 2pm to 5pm. Bookings are essential so get a table together and come and join us for a lovely afternoon with awesome food and a couple of cool drinks at the venue that has the best vibe in town.
