20.01.2022 Backwards Draw Update - 20 days until what is always one of Wayback Cricket Club's biggest events of the year, the Backwards Draw! - See below for the numbers which have already been snapped up and which are still on offer.... - How have people been picking their numbers so far? - We get the feeling some have gone with their age and others with a connection to their birth year. - Any other theories out there that are being used on how to pick the winner? - All details on how to book your ticket is on the flyer attached. It is as simple as an electronic bank transfer. - Tickets will only be allocated when the $60 payment has been made. Please use your name and ticket number as the reference for the transfer. - Remember your ticket not only gets you entry for the great prizes up for grabs throughout the draw, but that ticket price also pays for your choice of selected drinks from 7.30pm-9.30pm as well as supper.

Fergus Edmonds-Wilson (pictured wearing Australian kit) "A flashy young batsman in his first year of Under 12's. Loves to bowl fast and is quick in the field." Oscar Edmonds-Wilson (pictured wearing Strikers kit and KFC bucket) "Gun little batman, Oscar listens well and his game is really improving. Another right arm quick. And jet in the field." Jackson Bishop (pictured wearing Waybacks shirt) "Jacko loves his cricket and cracks in every week. Solid technique with the willow and has a knack for taking a wicket."

02.01.2022 Senior Colts: B-Grade: A-Grade: - It is a very positive Port Lincoln Hotel Round Wrap-Up this week as all of the Wayback Cricket Club teams had wins in Round 9. ... There's even some records and PB's that were given a nudge too: - Sam Clark scored his maiden century (121). - John Bascomb's 37 in the B Grade was his highest score for the club. -Sam and John's partnership of 148 was the third highest B-Grade partnership for the 3rd wicket for the club. -Nick Kleinig's 4/34 in the B-Grade was his best bowling performance for the club. -Dylan Vonderwall's 5/20 was his best bowling performance in A-Grade for the club and was also his first 5-wicket haul in A-Grade. -Daniel Borchardt played his first game for the club and hit the winning run to get us over the line in a tight finish in the A Grade.
