12.01.2022 Unpack your hiking boots - the Bluff Knoll trail is opening! After 4 months of work to repair bushfire damage, the Bluff Knoll trail is opening this Friday 22... May at 8am. The work hasn't been easy with more than 50 tonnes of material brought in manually and by helicopter. Hand tools were used to replace all steps and water bars on the trail and install a new pedestrian bridge. The height of the new steps has also been lowered to make the trail easier to climb and more family friendly. Mt Trio and Mt Toolbrunnup walk trails and access roads in the park will open on 8am Saturday 23 May. Stirling Range Ridge Walk including Ellen Peak will remain closed for the rest of the year, and Toll Peak picnic area and Moingup Springs campground and picnic area remain closed for the foreseeable future. 10.01.2022 Reynoldsons Flora Reserve in Wongan Hills displays a stunning array of colour between October and December each year when the wildflowers are out in bloom with over 1,400 species of flowering plants with 24 species unique to Wongan Hills. Some years ago the Wongan Hills Tourism Group created an interpretive walk trail within the reserve with interpretive panels describing the various flowering plants. These interpretive panels had completely failed due to the materials used ...and the hi UV environment at Reynoldson Reserve. We worked with the project officer to develop interesting and engaging sign panels using organic shapes and stylised artwork to break up the rectangular panel shape. We designed a suite of 11 interpretive panels. https://www.wayfound.com.au//reynoldson-reserve-interpret/

10.01.2022 Have you had problems being swooped by magpies? Check out this clever solution by Mark from Adelaide who said he was sick of being attacked when he was riding... his bike. Mark said the bird is a light, stuffed toy which he often attaches it to his backpack to keep him safe when he is walking too. He's also mastered his magpie impression to complete the illusion.
