24.01.2022 Now, on to the Light The Night - Sale event! Weve been attending the very worthwhile Light the Night Bairnsdale event over the past few years and weve now gladly accepted an invitation to attend the event in Sale, Victoria. So, on Saturday 5th November 2016 well be at the Sale Botanical Gardens, Guthridge Parade, Sale, with our petting farm ($5 entry per child) and miniature pony rides ($5 first, $2 subsequent rides). Although the event starts at 4pm we expect to be at ...the Bairnsdale Show earlier in the day so if we are a little late please wait patiently! :) Do come along and share in the afternoon and evening and assist with fundraising for the very worthwhile Leukaemia Foundation. 24.01.2022 We had been waiting a number of years for it to happen... When it did, on Monday 25th January 2016, we were very excited! And I dont think their Dad believes it still: "But you tell everyone that!...". Now, in the past weve had a Lilly riding our Miniature Pony Lilly, weve had a Jack riding Jack. Weve even had an Ebony riding our Ebony! But this was the first time we had twins Lilly and Ebony riding... guess who! 1. First up we have Ebony riding Lilly on the left and twin sister Lilly riding Ebony on the right. Then we swapped them around... 2. Tada! Lilly on the left riding Lilly with twin sister Ebony on the right riding Ebony! :) (Now were waiting for triplets! Ebony, Lilly & Jack. If you know of such a family... :) )

24.01.2022 Announcing our next public event! :) We'll be at the Toorloo Arm Primary School on the Lake Tyers Beach road from around 11am until 3pm with our petting farm and miniature pony rides. The School's community fair goes from 10am until 3pm and there will be heaps to see and do. It is a major showcase and fundraiser for the school. Read more about it in their latest newsletter here: http://taps.vic.edu.au/newsletters/2017/31stOctober.pdf. A wrist-band system will apply for access to the attractions including the petting farm. Purchasing will be available on the day on site. Our Miniature Pony Rides will be charged separately at $5 for a first ride and $3 for subsequent rides with first time riders given priority. (Riders under 40kg only!) So, feel free to drop by and say hello. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

23.01.2022 Announcing our next public petting farm: Join us at the Buchan and Gelantipy Racing Club race day at Canni Creek this coming Saturday 18th February 2017, Tomorrow! The weather forecast is for some showers but generally mild conditions. Lets hope for a great day out. The petting farm will operate from 1pm to 3pm with FREE entry! 23.01.2022 Announcing! We can now confirm that, in addition to our foreshore date on Monday 31st October, we will also be operating our petting farm and miniature pony rides in Lakes Entrance this coming Sunday 30th October from around 1pm until late in the afternoon... at least until 4pm - weather permitting! Well be setting up on the grassy vacant block between the Surf Shop and the Mini Golf / Ice Cream shop on the Esplanade just west of Myers Street. Entry will be $5 for the petti...ng farm and $5 per initial ride and $2 per subsequent ride on our miniature ponies. The photos below show: 1. 23.01.2022 Sorry for the short notice... but... Tomorrow (Saturday 14th October 2017): 1. Wild Cherry Steiner School in Bairnsdale = petting farm and miniature pony rides. 10am until 2pm. Well be charging customers directly for the miniature pony rides. The school may be charging to access to the petting farm... :)... 2. Light the Night @ Davison Oval, Bairnsdale from around 5pm (beside the All-Abilities Playground on the highway at the eastern end of town). Well be charging for access to the petting farm and for the miniature pony rides... Should be a great afternoon and evening of activities supporting the Leukaemia Foundation Light the Night events. 22.01.2022 We are very pleased to inform all of our friends that we will be attending the Orbost Primary School Fete this coming Thursday November 10th from 5pm until around 8pm! Well have our petting farm on site with all our usual cute and cuddly baby animals ($5 entry per child) as well as our miniature pony rides ($5 per first and $2 per subsequent rides). Come along and join the fun! :) The photos: 1. shows Freida from Bairnsdale (whose family hails from Egypt) who was fascinated by our bunnies, amongst others, and, 2. shows Monica from Melbourne (whose family hails from China) who was victorious on her second ever pony ride. She was on Jack the Miniature Australian Pony being led by our Tom.

20.01.2022 Weve had a wonderful morning at The 2016 Bairnsdale Show at the Bairnsdale Racecourse with our Miniature Pony Rides! Why not come over for the afternoon and evening and enjoy the sights and sounds? :) An initial ride is $5 and subsequent rides are only $2! 20.01.2022 The Melbourne Cup long weekend is almost here! That means well be in Lakes Entrance on the foreshore with our petting farm and miniature pony rides! :) Find us from 1pm until around 4pm near the footbridge on Monday, 31st October. Entry will be $5 for the petting farm and $5 per initial ride and $2 per subsequent ride on our miniature ponies. (A portion of our takings will be donated to the Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association for the New Years Eve fireworks....) Early indications are for temperatures in the high teens and some showers... But well keep an eye on the forecast as we get closer. (Overall the weekend looks wonderful with 21C and sunny on Saturday and 24C on Sunday! Well make some enquiries to see if we could make an appearance on Sunday too!) Meanwhile, the photos: 1. 14.01.2022 Hello again friends! How about two public petting farm events on the one day? :) Weve been invited to provide our petting farm and miniature pony rides FREE for your enjoyment at the Shannon Waters Estate Display Village Launch at the Shannon Waters Estate on the Dargo Road in Bairnsdale, Victoria this Saturday, 25th Feb. 2017. Well have our Maxi Petting Farm on display with all our usual small critters along with a range of full grow goats, sheep and Alpacas! Well be offe...ring our services from around 11am until 3pm or so. Entry and rides will be FREE all day to all comers so please take this opportunity to catch up with our range of critters in one place at one time! As you can see from the attached flyer there will be lots to see and do - much of it FREE! 13.01.2022 Hello friends! FYI were planning to be at the Light the Night Sale - Twilight Market and Community Walk event at the Sale Botanical Gardens this Saturday (25th Feb. 2017). Were planning to be there from around 5pm until close (around 8pm) and bring along our Petting Farm ($5 entry) as well as our Miniature Pony Rides ($5 first ride / $2 subsequent rides). Feel free to drop by. Therell be lots to see and do during the afternoon/evening as we rally round to support the Leuka...emia Foundation with their Leukaemia Foundation Light the Night event. 13.01.2022 Sadly, with strong winds again intervening, the Light The Night - Sale event has been postponed. There may be some chance of rescheduling before Christmas but that remains to be seen. So apologies to all of our friends hoping to catch up with us in Sale Botanical Gardens.

Kids of all ages can learn how to tell a woolly goat from a hairy sheep, the differences between alpacas and llamas, how to milk a goat and recognise a guinea Fowl, and a whole lot more with our Educational Petting Farms. As well as an introduction to the breeds and purposes of many common farm animals, we include plenty of time for each class to cuddle the baby guinea pigs, rabbits, chicks and goat kids. 09.01.2022 Wed love to see you at the Wild Cherry Schools Spring Fair on Saturday, October 8th. Well be there from 10am until 2pm. Access to the petting farm will require purchase of a ticket costing around $3 (unfortunately not free as mentioned earlier - but still great value). But we will be conducting free goat milking demonstrations throughout the day. The Miniature Pony Rides will also be available for $5 per first ride and $2 per subsequent ride. Now that is good value! :)

09.01.2022 Hi friends! During school terms our Petting Farms mostly keep busy with small private parties. But not tomorrow! Late announcement aside, tomorrow, Wednesday 29th June 2016, well be setting up to welcome you to the East Bairnsdale Community Hub Family Fun Day! Our Petting Farm will be FREE for all from 11am until 2pm at the Hoddinott Street Reserve in East Bairnsdale, Victoria. Well also be providing FREE Miniature Pony Rides for the young ones from around 11.30am until aro...und 1.30pm. All courtesy of the East Bairnsdale Community Hub! There will be lots of other attractions and organisations in attendance so feel free to come along and spend the day in sunny East Gippsland. (More information to come...) The photos... 1. Sale Primary School May Fair is always a great family event. We were there on 4th March 2016 with our Maxi Petting Farm. The small animal enclosure was busy with parents and children for most of the evening! 2. Here our Tom leads Jack the pony with Izaan aboard. Izaan joined us on the foreshore at Lakes Entrance for the Petting Farm and a Miniature Pony Ride on Easter Sunday 2016. Izaan hails from Melbourne via the UK and India. We now have a date planned and excellent weather forecast: Saturday, 17th December 2016 with around 23C forecast! Sounds about perfect! :) Well be at the Sale Botanical Gardens, Guthridge Parade, Sale, Victoria, with our petting farm ($5 entry per child) and miniature pony rides ($5 first, $2 subsequent rides). We are planning to be in attendance from 4pm until close around 8p...m. Do come along and share in the afternoon and evening and assist with fundraising for the very worthwhile Leukaemia Foundation. 07.01.2022 Upcoming! We are planning to be on the foreshore in Lakes Entrance for the Australian Adventure Festival on Sunday 23rd October. The Festival will attract hundreds of competitors and visitors to the Lakes Entrance area over the weekend of 22 - 23 October, 2016. Well have our petting farm on-site from around 8am until 2pm or later. Entry will be $5. Baby Guinea Pigs, young Lop Rabbits, fluffy chicks and some of our new season goat kids will be there - cute! :) Our Miniature ...Australian Ponies will also be there offering rides for $5 and $2 per subsequent ride. Although the event starts at 3pm well be in Gormandale earlier in the day so we dont expect to be back in Bairnsdale at Davison Oval and ready to go until around 5pm. 03.01.2022 Come on down to the foreshore in Lakes Entrance to the Messy Church christmas celebration! Here for another hour, until 1pm!

02.01.2022 Aaaaand... Now for something (just a little bit) different! We have 4 adorable, gold coloured, Toy Cavoodle / Poodlier puppies for sale. All 4 are male (First generation).... Their mother is our very own champagne / cream Toy Poodle Honey, whilst daddy is a local friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. These puppies are happy and playful and have been raised in a loving, friendly, family environment and are having lots of interaction with adults, children and visitors. Puppies have been wormed, vaccinated, microchipped & vet checked. These puppies are ready to go NOW! (8 weeks on 23 January 2017). As you know we are located in East Gippsland, Victoria, but delivery throughout Australia can be arranged. Update - all puppies have been SOLD! :) The puppies are very similar in appearance. So, although my children can tell them apart, I resort to referring to them by the colour of the t-shirt of the handler... 01.01.2022 Announcing: we will be operating our Petting Farm at the Swan Reach Primary School Twilight Fair tomorrow (6th November 2017) from 5pm until 8pm. (The fair itself will continue until 9pm.) Access to the attractions, including the Petting Farm, will involve a fee. But there is sure to be lots to see and do! :) So feel free to drop by and say hello and check out the animals!
