10.01.2022 This week the Minister for NDIS, Stuart Robert, released key home and living initiatives in relation to Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) that will drive innovation and growth in the SDA market. For eligible participants, SDA is a life-changing support. SDA empowers participants through greater control, independence, privacy and opportunities to maintain and grow personal relationships. These new SDA initiatives are:... SDA Design Standard which provides clarity to home design requirements, as well as the guidelines to seek pre-certification at the planning stage. The guidelines strengthen the market and give providers the flexibility to respond to participant needs and preferences.
