17.01.2022 We came back home this morning and found all the horses, sheep and alpacas safe and sound. We put out extra hay to help them feel settled and I think they had gorged themselves on it. It’s like cleaning up after a kids party. They weren’t hungry but just wanted more because it was there! Very full happy four legged friends. Thankyou for everyone’s good wishes and prayers. We seem to be over the worst of it now. Thankyou to Dorina Brown our dear friend who put up 4 adults 2 dogs and a scared cat last night.

We found he communicated well, continued to check in with our needs, is a very neat and exacting worker and the result is just what we asked for. A great job. 09.01.2022 Grateful for Evelyn our local vet from Local Land Services We learnt how to vaccinate, castrate, ear tag and for the finale, feacal test our sheep. Helpful to be a previous RN. Nursing skills come in very handy! Our darling sheep were very patient. Even Macca and Elvis had to have the works as well. Very well behaved also.

03.01.2022 Thankful for the Local Land Service and Evelyn our local vet. Some of our sheep have very high parasite counts and had to drench them ASAP. We did our first Q drench on our own! Farming skills! Well done to Kelvin who provided the muscle.
