23.01.2022 Hi all, well today is a significant day for us here at WTM. January 13th 1992 I started my business at our old premises at Mores Court, Wodonga, and here we are 25 years on to the day still servicing the borders automotive needs at our Mint Street workshop. So with that in mind Id like to thank everyone who has helped us get to this point including the past and present employees, friends, family and most importantly all the thousands of people that have entrusted us with their motor vehicles over the years. Over the past 25 years we have made it our business to provide genuine quality repairs and maintenance to local motorists and we do look forward to being able to continue to do so into the future. 17.01.2022 Hi all, Thought Id share a few photos of this beautifully restored FC holden which I had the pleasure of working on this week. The owner informs me that this vehicle was his parents car when he was just a young fella and has been in the family since then. Simon you should be very proud of this "resto", its great to see these gems still getting around. Well done. Just a quick reminder not to leave your car till the last week before Xmas, particularly with this warm spell on its way. 14.01.2022 With the another week coming to an end. Here are a few of snaps of cars we've had in. From fixing an oil leaks in the old hot rod and checking out engine oil leaks on a Hilux, to machining rotors and changing over brake pads. Yes....we machine disc brake rotors and drums on site. 13.01.2022 Hi all, and welcome to winter, isnt it just wonderful? Well if you like fog, frosty mornings and cold rainy days then maybe it is wonderful! Or, maybe you are thinking of a trip to the snow with family or friends? So now is probably a good time to have your vehicle checked before you head up them there hills. Dont forget to have your antifreeze checked, particularly if planning and overnighter, and also those really important things called Brakes which should be kept in top... condition at all times, let alone when you decide to head for the snow with mum and the kids,grandma and the family dog on board! That Brake Fluid may have high moisture content which can lower its boiling point and then lead to "Brake Fade" especially if you start giving them a workout coming down the hill after a big days skiing. Bit like stepping on a plum!!! So if anyone has any queries regarding your pride and joy give us a call or drop in and see myself and the team at WTM and well get youre car up to speed. 06.01.2022 Well after 10 months I finally have this gem almost finished. Sporting a nice new paint job and new upholstery and carpets etc. I couldnt wait to get out in the EH Holden, and what better place to go than a trip to the Rutherglen Wineries on a beautiful sunny winters day. Love it!

04.01.2022 The Wayne Talay Motors ute is loaded up with gear to help set up the Victory Lutheran College Halloween Stall at this years Border Relay For Life. Well done VLC who have so far raised approximately $7000 for cancer research!

04.01.2022 I think its fair to say that here a WTM we get a fair bit of variety in the way of motor cars and this week was no exception. This 1963 Rolls Royce " Silver Cloud " was in for a bit of service work and I had the privilege of performing that work. This machine is beautifully kept and drives just as it would have in 1963. I was tempted to do the "royal" wave whilst road testing, but thought Id better keep both hands on the steering wheel. Quick reminder, WTM is closed this Monday and Tuesday but will be back in action Wednesday morning. Have a great weekend and good luck if you are backing anything in the Melbourne Cup. Cheers Wayno
