14.01.2022 And just like that! We are done! It is the first time in a long time that we have worked right up to Christmas. After an eventful busy year, we are closed. We re-open on Monday the 8th on January. We would like to thank everyone we had supported us over this year and those who showed their appreciation with gifts and feedback over the year and Christmas. People are awesome, dont forget that. A true show of hard working, enthusiastic character, she finished her TAFE units early and wanted to make use of her time down in Perth, came to our workshop for some extra experience in a busy work environment. 14.01.2022 SAVE OUR CLUB Today I got the news that Cervantes greatest community asset will close its doors on January 31 2019 and say goodbye after 44 years. Sadly the c...lub has struck a difficult financial period, in its existence, which normal trading cannot fix and we have only 4 weeks to do something about it. We have seen that our town can live without its pub but it cant live without its club , its the fabric that has held our community together for nearly 5 decades. We owe it the the towns pioneers that built that club with their bare hands, in their own time with their own finances not to take the 2018 approach ans say its too hard and let it go. If the Cervantes Country Club goes a massive piece of Cervantes goes with it. Im personally not going to let it happen and Im hoping if your reading this you think the same.
