11.01.2022 Quite a few years ago, my Mother gave me a small card she had purchased from a newsagent. I read the card, and I liked what it said. At that time in my life, nothing I did seemed to go right. I kept reading the small card my mother had given me and I felt it inspired me to keep going. It’s message has really helped me to become the person I am now. It has helped me to be be better. The message is Don’t Give Up When things go wrong as they sometimes will. When the road you...’re trudging seems all uphill, When funds are low and debts are high. And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with it’s twists and turns, As everyone of us sometimes learns. And many a failure turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out. Don’t give up Though the pace seems slow- you may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the cloud of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are- it may be near when it seems far. So stick to the fight when your hardest hit. It’s when things seem worst you must not quit. I hope this helps someone who is fighting battles of their own .
