25.01.2022 Super excited to have a few school bookings coming up in the next few months. If you didn't know, we offer specially designed tours for schools that connect closely to Victorian Highschool curriculum. We offer student friendly versions of our Urban Eco and Sustainability Tour, a Street Art Tour and a Social Enterprise Tour (only for schools). If you're a teacher looking for a creative experience for your students, head to the School Tours tab on our website to find out more about what we have on offer.

23.01.2022 On the Urban Eco and Sustainability Tour we discuss the alarming number of cigarette butts thrown on the ground in Melbourne every day. We brainstorm solutions to such issues with our guests and often marvel at their creative responses. On one particular tour a guest suggested that images of wildlife effected by cigarette butts could to be placed on their packaging. Do you think placing an image, like the one below, on a cigarette packet would encourage smokers to place their butts in the bin or will it simply be ignored?

17.01.2022 This coming Friday evening I will be hosting the Urban Wine Tour for the very first time! If you would like to try some local regional wines, have some yummy snacks (including chocolate) and enjoy some friendly chit chat, I am offering this all inclusive tour for a significantly reduced one-time-only price of $60 per person. If you would like to join please send me an email at [email protected] for more details.

13.01.2022 We would love to take our tour guests to Mabu Mabu to feast on their native foods, but unfortunately Yarraville is just a tad off route for us. So, when restaurants open up, you'll have to go there yourself!

09.01.2022 - DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR FOOD COMES FROM - COVID-19 lockdown has given us all a moment to think about the future we want to create. From energy sources to available green spaces, people in the community are discussing our best options going forward. One other topic that we also talk about on the Urban Eco and Sustainability Tour is the importance of urban agriculture. Check out the article below for a little bit of an insight into local urban farms and the benefits of produc...ing/purchasing locally. https://www.abc.net.au//urban-farming-on-rise-du/12797672

09.01.2022 Over the past couple of days, we have hosted over 80 Year 9 students on our new Social Enterprise Tour! This tour is specially designed for school groups learning about social enterprise as a creative way to address social issues. A huge thanks to all the social enterprises, creative businesses and socially conscious businesses who have made this super unique tour possible and helped inspire the budding social entrepreneurs! I'd particularly like to thank Koky, Will, Tim (o...n his first day!) and Ash at @beekeeperparade for kindly giving us their time and sharing their wonderful story. Without legends like yourselves, this tour would not be possible. If you're a teacher or coordinator looking for a creative way to jazz up your STEM programs, get in contact with @monash_uni about their inspiring social enterprise program. The program educates students about addressing social issues through enterprise and supports them while they create their very own social enterprises. Simply incredible! And if you'd like to get an insight into social enterprises here in Melbourne and how they are helping create a better future, come join us on a tour!

09.01.2022 Last month we hosted 85 Year 9 students on our Social Enterprise Tour that introduced them to some of the change-maker businesses in Melbourne's CBD. The students were all working on creating their own social enterprises as part of an incredible program offered at their school. Their ideas on how to address various social issues with enterprise was simply inspiring. If you'd like to know more about social enterprise and maybe how you can work in the sector or create your own social enterprise, check out this chat hosted by Monash SEED.
