25.01.2022 Eight weeks old today and they got to go down to Howard and celebrate with their friends while Digger & did obedience class! Such good puppies, well mannered and a pleasure to be with.

25.01.2022 Attention Wazwallaby owners! We now are offering rebate incentives for any Wazwallaby puppy that earns any ANKC title, or ADAA agility title. This includes agility, conformation, DWD, ET, herding, obedience, rally-o, tracking, tricks, etc. We need more ACD owners out there proving the versatility of our breed and Wazwallaby dogs in particular. I am putting together a list, so if you are interested, please PM me. I particularly encourage people to give rally-o and tricks a go. It is a great way to build a better bond with your dog. It is fun going to comps and performing with your best mate and owning a titled dog give you a real sense of achievement too. Most dogs get thrill from it, too.

24.01.2022 BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!!! Congrats to Toni Gardiner and Shonee (Wazwallaby Our Bit O Paint) on winning Best Puppy in Show today under judge Mrs Amanda Everson. Shonee is a Willie x Franki daughter and we are repeating this mating now. Enquiries for show and performance pups welcomed.. 24.01.2022 Here we are! Brand new puppers at just 56 hrs. These are Digger (CH Wazwallaby Damage Control) x Abbi (Kombinalong Super Wallaby) pups. Last litter produced great show. performance and kid-friendly pups.Seven boys and just the one girl.

20.01.2022 She is ready to go to her new home.... looking for a bonafide performance (competition) home so as to carry on Bundi's heritage. She is likely to be the last of the Bundi puppies, given his age. She is a lot like Bundi in looks and temperament I never evaluated Bundi to be a show prospect as a pup, but he earned his AKC, ANKC and UKC championship titles along with all of his performance titles, so perhaps this girl will follow suit?! She will be sold on Main register and I ...hope she will be bred to pass on the versatility of performance I think she is capable of. But she would not be my first pick for a show puppy as she will be later maturing, but she is built for sport..not as chunky and with good leg under her. She has beautiful lateral movement. She watches the cattle and guinea fowl carefully and thoughtfully as if she is planning things in her mind. She has a lovely head on her. Ears are starting to come up BAER tested normal bilateral hearing. Could be either Pattern A or B for prcdPRA. as Bundi is Pattern B and her mum is Pattern A. Both parents are clear for PLL and RCD4. But at any rate, she can be verified to not be affected for any current disease test by parentage thru Orivet, as both parents are fully tested. PM or ring me for any questions. She is NOT available to a pet only home. She is started in agility foundations and is also evaluated to be suitable for a wide range of canine endeavours .....agility, carting, DWD, herding trials, lure coursing, lure racing, nose work, obedience, rally, SAR, tracking, etc. If performance sports are your interest, this is a pup to look at. I will work with anyone dedicated to these pursuits.

19.01.2022 RIP Roan and condolences to his owner, Terry who is absolutely heartbroken. Very sad to say that the handsome boy Roan lost his life yesterday when he suffocated to death while playing with a ball which got trapped in his windpipe. Even after death, the vet could not get it out it was so firmly lodged in there. So be VERY careful that any balls you play with your dog are way too big to fit in their throat. An adult ACD should have a 3" or bigger ball to ensure that this can't happen. Roan is survived by his parents (Digger and Rose) and his 9 siblings... Doug, Kitt, Franki, Fynn, Freddy, Flash Gordon, Monty & Banjo who all just turned 2 at the end of July.

18.01.2022 Six weeks old today....still fun and cute! They enjoyed helping bring in the lucerne (alfalfa) hay and meeting the guinea fowl, too.

18.01.2022 Puppies got microchipped and swabbed for DNA to be sent to Orivet. None made a sound or did anything with the microchip insertions, but our "big strong boy" cried when he was being swabbed!

16.01.2022 Digger and Abbi want to announce that they have eight new baby blues as of this morning....seven sons and a single daughter! Mum and pups all doing fine. Fast, easy whelping. The ultrasound only showed seven, so we got a "bonus" pup!! Photos to follow .

16.01.2022 Today I got news and photos from Miss Lolli (Wazwallaby Laughing Out Loud). I miss this ray of sunshine, but I could not be happier with her home knowing all the fun activities she gets to do... helping her dad with the farming, driving tractors and the mule around, supervising the irrigation (and playing in, too!), going kayaking with her mum & dad, and sleeping it all off until the next adventure!

16.01.2022 Puppies went for a car ride and got to meet some calves today. The calves were "dog friendly" so the pups weren't sure what to do about them!

16.01.2022 Odi is a Willie x Franki puppy that lives with his family in SA. We think Odi is a cute blue version of Willie with all of his speckles!

15.01.2022 Here is young Maverick down in Sydney being trained by his 6 year old & also playing with both young girls. A great show dog AND an amazing kids dog! Does it get any better?! We are very proud of Maverick and his family!! Maverick is a Digger x Abbi son and full sibling to the new Wazwallaby litter born on Friday. A great blend of Wallaby and Kombinalong lines....Wazwallaby Legacy of the Free.

15.01.2022 The first puppy left today to go to his new home down south. We drove him down 3/4 of the way and hs new mum picked him up and took him home to meet Harry, his real uncle (Digger's brother), as well as Clancy, his adopted uncle. Here is what Julie sent me tonight... Hi Suzi Puppy is a total delight. Thank you for breeding such a gorgeous pup. Everyone is now settled and relaxed.... From the photo, it looks like this little pup is happily snuggled up with his new "dad". Not sure that Uncle Harry is 100% convinced about him yet! Maybe he was expecting a red puppy?! Look for this little man in the show ring in the future and then he and Uncle Harry are going to try their paws at rally!!

14.01.2022 Here we are at dusk tonight. The light was fading, but I grabbed some pics of the puppies as they raced around the front paddock and the agility equipment. Our cat, Mikey, came over to give the pups a bit of advice and then he took them thru the tire and onto the table and then thru the short tunnel! Such a good cat.

12.01.2022 Wooo hoooo!! Miss Shonee took yet another Puppy in Group today. Only 10 months old and she finished her title already last weekend and has won several Puppy in Groups and a Puppy in Show! I'm sure Duco & Digger are proud of their grandpuppy, too! Pending Dogs SA approval she can now be called CH Wazwallaby Our Bit O Paint. Shonee is a Willie x Franki daughter and we are repeating this breeding.... A HUGE thanks to Toni Gardiner for raising, training and piloting this little red rocket to all of her successes.

12.01.2022 Another one of our "puppers" had a super weekend, too! Ellie and Julie won Best of Breed under breed specialist Narelle Hammond on Sunday in NSW. Wazwallaby Namadgi Red Pearl is a Willie x Min Min daughter. Very proud of this pair!! Ellie and Julie are planning on some obedience work, too!

12.01.2022 Expressions of Interest are now being accepted for the current litter of 6 males (3 blues and 3 reds). No pups will be designated until BAER tested, PAT evaluated and structural evaluations are complete. It is expected that these pups will go to homes that will continue their crate training, provide ongoing training with a qualified instructor, and that the pups will be raised as indoor/outdoor companions. Preference is generally given to homes where the pup can be with his... person for the most amount of time. Pups with show, performance or working aptitudes would preferably be placed in homes where their aptitudes can be best utilized, but the primary consideration is the overall quality of the home and the opportunities that it will afford the puppy overall. If you currently have an application on file, please contact me to verify your interest. If you do not have a current application on file, then please PM me and I can send you one. I may have some Service Dog candidates in the current litter, too. Puppies are evaluated according to your requirements, etc as set out on your application and also per phone conversations and emails. These pups are bred and reared to live long lives, so this is an important investment where we do our best to match you up with a pup that is suitable for you and your lifestyle. You are welcome to visit pups and interact with them, but placement will be based on suitability. You may add colour & markings to your requirement list, but we suggest keeping an open mind for the "best candidate" overall!

12.01.2022 We did the Puppy Aptitude Test evaluations yesterday and all 8 pups did awesomely!! Started our first structural and breed type evaluations, too.

12.01.2022 Puppy boys today at 3 weeks and 6 days of age. They have been going out on the grass during the day to give their mum a bit of a break and to have some playtime. Every day they get some new toys mixed in and it is great to watch them check them out and interact with things. I wish I could just sit and cuddle them or take photos, as I miss the best stuff! Today a couple climbed into the water for some fun, too...some still wet faces!

11.01.2022 Here is Ruby and her mum, Kathy. Ruby is from the first Bundi x Rose litter in 2016. She lives on a fruit orchard in Victoria.

10.01.2022 Great results on our BAER testing!! All 16 ears are hearing...so all 8 pups in the litter have full bilateral hearing!! They also did well with their first crating and driving. No one got carsick. we did have a break-out as apparently the side door to the crate came open so I had a passel of pups running around the back of the wagon until I could pull over and entice them back into the crate from the rear seat!

10.01.2022 Puppies today.... The pups have had a busy time over the past few days..... their first car ride on Sunday, their first chicken frames, their first rib bones and a big playdate with the neighbour kids today! Pups NFS.

10.01.2022 More puppy spam! The boy weighed 3.5 kgs today at 6 weeks. The girls are 3.0 and 2.9 kgs. Ears are up on one girl, 3/4 up on the other girl and about halfway up on the boy. They had a fun play session with Grandpa Bundi today and then settled down to gnawing on some meaty roo tail butt bones!

08.01.2022 This stunning red puppy girl is Miss Ellie. She is owned by Julie & Glen Hogan in NSW. Ellie is a Willie x Min Min daughter who is waiting for the shows to start back up again. She says that she is ready!

08.01.2022 Wazwallaby has an official "Winery Dog" now! This is young Banjo in front of his dad's winery in SA. Banjo is a Digger x Rose son who just turned 2 years old. Banjp belongs to the Pollard family.

07.01.2022 Q5 a full double-masked pup is available. Looking for a home without small children as this boy is probably not the best match for littlies. Great personality, but tends to be more mouthy at times. He scored very well on his PAT evaluations. Great fetch already, so an obedience prospect! Anyone interested, please message me privately or ring me at 07 4126 6594 to discuss his strengths and weaknesses.

06.01.2022 WHAT MAKES THE BEST FAMILY COMPANION DOG?? Many people think they want a female for their "family companion" dog. In all honesty, as a generalization, males make superior family and companion dogs in the ACD and many herding breeds. The boys tend to be more laid back and easy to live with than the girls. Girls tend to have a lot more "rules" about things in life and they tend to make split-second decisions about enforcing their rules! They are more intense and can need more managing in public situations. So if you have young children, kids coming over to visit, like to walk on the beach, etc, talk with your breeder about a nice, laid back male :-)

06.01.2022 And another Wazwallaby red girl also had a super successful weekend! Miss Shonee (Wazwallaby Our Bit O Paint) went to her very first show in SA this weekend and came home with two Bitch Challenges and 14 points. Kudos to Toni and Shonee!! Not bad for a 6 month old puppy girl. Shonee is a Willie x Franki daughter. We are planning on putting Franki's litter sister, Kitt, to Willie on her next heat cycle as we are so pleased with the pups from this litter! Willie is really siring some nice females for us.

UCD UWPCH U-CH UAGI URO2 Am CH Aust CH Wallaby Smokin' Bundaberg Blu - Australian RA Tk.S & American CD BN RE OA OAJ NF CL2 HIC CGC VQWX CHIC the only ACD to date to earn a SUPER DOG designation! Dam: MIN MN ....(Nyinyikay Min Min). Min is the dam of Australian champions as well as agility, trick and rally-o dogs aslo sired by bundi. This Timex will likely be the last Bun...di son we breed to Bundi's age. He is developing very nicely physically and looks to be a nice show prospect like some of his full brothers from prior litters! If we had any shows going on, I would have him out there in the ring. He is crate trained, good in the house. Good with our cat. Sensible around livestock. Good with chooks and guinea fowl. Interested show homes can contact me to discuss him further. See more

05.01.2022 Yesterday, the pups got to spend the afternoon with their dad, Bundi. Three totally dirty puppies and one old dog :-)

04.01.2022 Not great photos as the first half-hour they swarmed around me and then it got dark... But here are the "Energizer Bunny Eight" playing with their Grandpa Bundi as the moon came up! Bundi is under all eight of them!!

04.01.2022 Dogs from the past (2002)...... Here is a "family photo" of Wallaby Gangalook Grizzly and his "wife" Jumpin Joker's Cheyenne with their daughter Gangalook Blueberry (shown here at 6 mos) who just recently passed on at 18.5 years of age. All were owned by the Lex family in Germany ("Gangalook" prefix). Dogs left to right:... Grizzly (red)was bred by me and sent to the Lex family in Germany where he became a successful SAR dog with the Munich team. Grizzly was certified in all aspects of SAR from Glaciers to Water Cadaver Dog. The Lex family trained and handled this amazing dog. I have some amazing photos somewhere. Cheyenne came to me from Germany. Her breeder was Andrea Schneider but the Lex family sent her Cheynee to me and she assumed the role of "Head Bitch" in our household for several years. I really miss this girl.

04.01.2022 Pups are gaining some weight. Abbi is an attentive mother. I went to see one last year's pups today(a full sibling by blood) and was really impressed. I will have to go back and take some pictures of Lolli to put up here. She is gorgeous, smart and loyal. She obviously has bonded to her new mum and dad and is loving the life as a farm dog.... especially the travelling irrigator!

04.01.2022 Microchips done. DNA swabs done and sent to Orivet. So today they played and raced around the front paddock up and down the dogwalk (full size) thru the citrus trees and around the lucerne paddock. Soon they will be leaving for their new homes and they are ready!!

03.01.2022 Pile o' puppies! Six days old today and sleeping hard after their ENS workout. This Early Neurological Stimulus program stimulates their neuromuscular system and improves cardiac function as well as the immune system. Also called Biosensory Training or Superpup.

02.01.2022 A special message and photo I found in my email this morning from California!! I LOVE heariing about "my puppies" of all ages!! Suzi - We got our beloved Burleigh from you in 2009. He is from Bundi/Fancy and he is amazing. Just celebrated his 12th birthday. I’m not on Facebook, but was just looking at your posts and your Dogzonline site.... Just wanted to say hello and let you know what a blessing he’s been to us all these years! He shares our home with his nearly 11 yr old Vizsla brother, Zeke as well as our three now-adult boys! My dream is to get our next pup from you one day when we’re visiting my brother in Burleigh Heads! Best to you - Gina Gleason

02.01.2022 Another "Brag Post" on Liz and Miss Scout (Wazwallaby Quite A Catch) a Digger x Abbi puppy. They won the Bitch Challenge both shows today at Tuggerah Lakes KC shows. Scout just went into the Puppy class so 14 points towards her CH title! Scout is only 6.5 months old, so we are very proud of them winning over an older female! Special thanks to judges Brad Santos and Sylvia Brackman for these wins!
