18.01.2022 Hey awesome players of WBC, As we near the pointy end of the season just a friendly reminder that during WBC baseball game's there shouldn't be anyone in the dugouts other than players and coaches (those directly involved in the game). This means players from other grades or family members should not be in the dugout. Please remember as these people are not involved in the game (on the card) they won't be covered under our BWA insurance should something unfortunately go wrong.... On the weekend I was approached by umpires and this request was made directly by them. Any issues please don't hesitate to contact me. Otherwise good luck teams on the weekend and Go WILLO!!!!

16.01.2022 FYI about SEMSA duties.

15.01.2022 This was a game that showed how things can change in a blink of an eye, support of other softball players and that our sport is both fun and dangerous. During the warm up, a batted ball from another diamond hit one of our players with serious repercussions. A Roleystone player tended to our team-mate, while Hammers supporters called the ambulance; and others tried to let family know of the situation. The game proceeded 20 minutes late and with us one player down. We went down a very honourable 5-10. NOTE: At times like this it is incredibly important that loved ones can be immediately contacted. All phones have ICE (In case of emergency) contacts for this very reason.

15.01.2022 **IMPORTANT NOTICE** Hey guys and girls, due to circumstances out of our control the committee have decided that it best to follow recommendations of governing bodies and not go ahead with the Club Windup on the 27th. The committee will be discussing alternative options going forward, so please keep an eye out for this. For those who have already paid directly into our account, you are entitled to a full refund. If you could please email your bank details to Deb Brennan at [email protected] and we will arrange for a bank transfer. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING GRAND FINALS As per BWA's latest report they have unfortunately cancelled the remainder of baseball activities including this weekends games: http://www.baseballwa.com.au//baseball-wa-covid-19-update- In regards to SEMSA games this weekend they are meeting with Softball presidents tonight to decide and come to a decision. We ask that you remain healthy and safe over this hard period, in addition to this we thank you in advance for your understanding. Regards WBC Committee
