25.01.2022 Hey Plovers, for those of you who don't know, Set up at Brauer tomorrow from 11.00 for our game against Ballarat. Remember, many hands make light work, and we don't want the same people doing it all the time! Rosters to be made soon. Kick off 1.30. See you there at 11. SWOOP!

21.01.2022 We are playing in Puckapunyal tomorrow at 1.30pm. The ground is on the Army Base, so All players need to have photo ID to get on to the base. The team bus will be leaving at 8am tomorrow from the flying horse, get down and have a run! ... It's been 3 weeks since our last game, so everyone should be fresh and ready for a big hitout against Pucka!

20.01.2022 Hi Plovers, Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to forfeit for our last game of the official today, due primarily to a lack of players. We could only field a maximum of 11 players, and Puckapunyal were also in a position of struggling to field a full team, so perhaps it is unfortunately the best outcome for both clubs. Sorry to those who had commited to come. This said, we are definitely hosting Southern Districts Melbourne for a post season friendly on 26 Octobe...r. We have use of Brauer, and Southern Districts are keen as mustard. LETS MAKE THIS A SPECIAL DAY. I am proposing awards for players etc on this day as well. 11.01.2022 Okay Plovers!!!! To better organise you fellas there is a new app for android and iPhone called TEAM APP. Please download it, make an account, search for the plovers and add yourself as a player or supporter!

10.01.2022 Tomorrow night at Training there will be a crew from the ARU conducting auditions to find the Ultimate Wallabies Fan in the South West. Successful auditions will lead to a Sheep Shearing competition in Hawkesdale, with the winner of that going on an all expenses paid trip to Sydney to compete in a competition against British Lions fans to win tickets to the Lions game in sydney! Come down and say why you're the biggest Wallabies fan in the South West! From 6pm!!!

08.01.2022 Just to let everyone know we kick off this year with the best numbers I've seen since this club was established we started with the 7"s in Geelong last month we diddnt get the results on paper but it was a really good effort from the boys then last week, we had a three way battle with south Adelaide an Ballarat same thing we diddnt get the results but it the numbers where better then good there was very goods amount of money raised for the club so hopefully we have the full support from all of the committee and people that don't get recognized behind the seen we can't wait to kick off 2014

07.01.2022 We the first game of the season was against Melton, we had a great run, played some sensational Rugby, but unfortunately lost 33 - 12. Stay tuned, a very entertaining season is on the cards!

05.01.2022 It was a great game against Pucka, their boys showed amazing spirit. However, the boys from the bool came up with a massive win, 66-17! Thanks to Pucka for a great game!

02.01.2022 To any Plovers and interested others, Given we now have a free afternoon due to Maroondah forfeiting for some reason (we must have scared them) we are proposing a game of touch footy at Brauander at 2.00. Maybe some Pinkies Pizza too! If you are available, feel free to come down!! Put a post on this page if you are interested. Cheers Dick
