20.01.2022 Is self-isolation paid leaveor not? During this time of uncertainty employers need to be sure they have appropriate policies in place and understand how employees should be compensated when needing to self-isolate, work from home, or take work off due to COVID-19 related illness or caring (i.e. if school aged children are sent home). At WCA Solutions, we are currently supporting many of our clients with answers: what must be included in policies to ensure they can direct em...ployees to work safely at home; to use existing leave entitlements; and not be in a situation where a business may be required to compensate their employees above entitlements, even if an employee is required to be at home, but is unable to work from home. If you require assistance of this nature, please contact us for advice on how we can help. #workingfromhome #COVID19 #employeeentitlements #industrialrelations
