23.01.2022 We all survived the heat yesterday and today is thankfully cooler which makes it a great day to come and enjoy all that Yanchep National Park has to offer. Follow the signs past the Inn and take a helicopter flight with us too! We have a range of flights available starting at $70* per person. No minimum or maximum age. 22.01.2022 The Yanchep National Park will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday 18th December. flights will go ahead this Sunday 22nd as normal. Im sure the views will be a little confronting after the devastating bushfire that has burned over 13,000 hectares. We all give so many thanks to the hundreds of volunteers and career firefighters who fought to save over 6000 homes.

21.01.2022 Photos taken 4 weeks apart, at first glance there isnt much difference but looking closely you can see all the tree tops in the background are brown and burned in the top photo but are green again in the most recent pic. The swamp grasses are longer and the new growth on the trees just behind the Kangaroos has increased. All this without a drop of rain!

18.01.2022 A smile says a million words.... Firstly I’d like to thank Mick for going above and beyond to assist in getting Rob into the helicopter. As you can imagine, bei...ng non ambulant makes its very difficult to make things like this happen! Once we were in the air mick kept checking in on Rob to make sure he was ok. Rob was fine, he absolutely loved it, I’ve never seen him smile so wide! What an absolutely amazing experience for us all... thank you Heli scene for giving us this amazing opportunity and beautiful memories to cherish for ever... We’ll be back! 17.01.2022 Like so many other tourism businesses, we have been forced to take a break from our usual operations. While we are all learning to adjust to this strange new way of living we should all try to support our local businesses, many of whom have been able to continue operating in a varied, albeit reduced, fashion. Many others such as ourselves are currently not so fortunate and have to simply cease trading until a new and safer normal takes place. We greatly miss the social conta...ct we experienced meeting all our wonderful clients and sharing with them the adventure of helicopter flight. We hope when this is all over we will get to see you all again. 16.01.2022 Due to the fire that has burned from Yanchep to Guilderton the Yanchep National Park will remain closed until it is declared safe. This may take some time as much of the bush/trees have been affected and possibly the water and power supplies. For those of you who have bookings over the next few weeks I will notify you when we have been made aware of the situation at the Park. 13.01.2022 We are currently assisting with the recovery of a grounded boat at Daw Island, situated at the eastern end of the Recherche Archipelago off Israelite Bay. (South east of Esperance and right at the western edge of The Great Australian Bite for those who didnt know ) Today, Mick flew Richard from London Offshore Consultants out to get a good view of things. Richard Palmer took some great photos of the views of this stunning piece of coast and the Island. Thanks Richard for the great photographs.

11.01.2022 As you will all be aware the current bushfire that has burned from yanchep to guilderton (moore river) means that we will not be flying on Sunday. The yanchep National Park will remain closed until Dfes declares the area to be safe. This could be some time away. Today we faced the fire ourselves as winds changed and sent it directly towards us, we where extremely lucky the winds shifted again just in time sending it in another direction. If not for the tireless efforts from our firecrews and the amazing aerial support provided by McDermott Aviation Group this could well have been a different story.

10.01.2022 We had a wonderful day yesterday meeting so many special Dads and their families. Unfortunately we had to move all Sundays flights to Saturday due to todays weather forecast. Were expecting up to 10ml of rain and winds up to 40km per hour. As you can imagine, this isnt ideal flying conditions. Next week we hope the weather is kinder and we will see you all on the Sunday as usual. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads, have a great day

09.01.2022 Here are a few photos I took last Sunday at the Yanchep National Park. As you can see there is, amazingly, some new growth to the burnt areas along the lakes edge. 07.01.2022 Today we went for a flight from Woodridge area south to Two Rocks and Yanchep looking at the fire damage. Ive attached some of my photos. I can say that our Fireys did an amazing job protecting homes and lives. Unbelievable effort from them all, we all thank them immensely for doing what they do! 05.01.2022 I was recently asked how the shacks near Wilbinga faired with the fires so I have posted a photo showing just how lucky they where... Its so heartwarming to see the kangaroos still enjoying the National Park after the recent fires too.

04.01.2022 We where honoured today to assist Santa Clause and two of his helpers to the Guilderton Volunteer Fire Services Community Christmas party held at Neergabby. The event continues tonight with the Christmas lights being switched on at 7pm and a very talented band to entertain us all. We hope to see you there tonight.
