22.01.2022 As part of National Palliative Care week, were proud to support the Moments That Matter campaign. Aidan is in his late 30s and the bereaved partner of his wife Toni, who died in her mid 30s after a seven year illness with incurable brain cancer. Palliative care played an important role in the last eight months of Tonis life, providing emotional and spiritual care, music therapy, physiotherapy, equipment and bereavement support. Aidan says palliative care helped them to have those hard conversations, to leave nothing unsaid, have no regrets, and to enjoy life. Toni died at home and they jointly planned her funeral. Palliative care enabled Toni to experience joy through music and walking. https://momentsthatmatter.org.au/stories/joy/ momentsthatmatter.org.au #MomentsThatMatter

06.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Important Update We are committed to ensuring families have the opportunity to farewell their loved ones in a respectful and dignified way. We are also committed to ensuring we operate in line with the current Federal and State Government restrictions in relation to the COVID-19 situation. We are aware the Victorian Premier has made a statement this morning which includes funerals in non-essential gatherings to be banned from midday. We were not aware of this change and are in contact with the State Government for further clarification and we provide an update as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, we are in contact with all families who have a funeral or memorial service today. Please speak with the location nearest you if you have any queries at this stage.
