Discipline is getting out of bed, showering, and putting on fresh clothes, ideally clothes you’d wear to work. Starting your day the same way you would if you were going into the office signals to your brain that it’s time to switch on work mode. As great as the idea of pyjamas may seem, the more laid back and loungey you feel, the more you’re likely to retreat to bed or the couch. Take your work seriously by looking the part. 2 Fake Your Commute - This is another strategy not often thought about. We all commute to work, whether it’s 5 minutes or 2 hours. Either way, that commute time enables us to wake up, get into the working zone, and get ourselves active.
