04.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to one of our Wenty roo family. Monique Mitchell started playing Netball for WDFNC in u13s. Playing up through her junior years she developed into a fine netballer- her stealth moves, gentle nature, natural speed and hunger for the ball (resulting in many concrete clashes) made her an unpredictable defender, valuable team mate and a delight to coach. As a Wenty junior Monique played in the 2015 C grade premiership and the 2016 U17 D1... runners-up team. Her first year in seniors was another highlight coming home with the 2017 C grade premiership. A beautiful player, role model and friend. A gem on and off the court. We will miss you Mon. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with her family and friends. To her much loved brother Ernie, Wenty will cheer you on for Mon. Monique’s funeral will be 11am Wednesday 23rd Dec at the Dareton Cemetery. All WDFNC past and present players/supporters are welcome to wear their Wenty shirts (optional) and join the guard of honour at the service.

04.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT. We would like to welcome the arrival of Damon Tually to the Wenty Roos. Damon is young 194cm half back, who like most attacking defenders, enjoys sneaking forward to kick a few goals.... Loveing the outdoors, Damon is big into camping, hiking and mountaineering. Damon has moved here from Newcastle where he finished a bachelors degree in business. He has a brother and sister.
