02.01.2022 EFFICIENCY CERTIFICATES Q&A What are Efficiency Certificates? Efficiency Certificates promote a greater understanding of fundamental riding skill, horse care a...nd management. The Efficiency Certificate program gives a staged approach to learning and a good basis for planning rallies to systematically teach our riders. The Efficiency Certificate program is set out in the Pony Club Australia Syllabus of Instruction. What are the levels of Efficiency Certificate? E Standard D Standard D* Standard C Standard C* Standard or K Standard B Standard H Standard A Standard Can I do any Efficiency Certificate I want? A certificate must be gained in order that is each is a pre-requisite for the higher standard certificate except E which is an optional certificate> Who do I talk to if I want to do my certificate? CLUB: E | D | D* ZONE: C | C* | K | B | B* STATE: H | A Who records my certificate in MyPonyClub? Your Club Officials will record your E | D & D* certificates, your Zone will record your C | C* | K | B & B* and the State will record H & A Certificates. I want to go to State Championships do I need my C Certificate? Club Members who have been at pony club for at least two years and who are aged 14 years or over need their ‘C’ certificate to ride at state championships. 'C' certificate is not required to ride at a zone championship, a rider who wishes to be considered for selection in a state championship competition, is required (if applicable) to have the 'C' certificate before the day of the zone championships. This is because the zone championships is also a state championship qualifying event. Riders wishing to qualify for the state horse trials championship must have the 'C' certificate before lodging an entry application with the zone representative. Where do I order my Efficiency Certificate Workbooks? Efficiency Certificate Workbooks can be purchased from the Members Store in your MyPonyClub Member Profile or from the APP. Please any questions do not hesitate to contact Sharron Lowther Wannon Zone Examining Secretary
